La Fiesta De Una Docena De Días: Day One
Viejas Arena (San Diego)
The first night of the fiesta would begin with Tokyo Prince introducing his commentary partner for the evening Dirk Stenhausen. The pair would talk up the tournament and make it clear that twelve days of action would be a first in the world professional wrestling and that Pro Wrestling Entertainment was really hoping to put themselves on the map once this twelve day festival was over. It would be explained that over the next two days, a total of sixteen matches would be taking place in San Diego.
------------------------------------------------------
Mr. Thanksgiving vs. Puzzle Piece [Group A]
The first match of the tournament would be a fairly one sided affair, with Puzzle Piece running rings around Mr. Thanksgiving and ending the match by landing on top of his foe with a 630 Senton to win the match.
Winner: Puzzle Piece
------------------------------------------------------
Rainbow Kat vs. Night Sky [Group G]
The second contest of the evening would be a much more even contest, with Night Sky offering more power and despite Rainbow Kat’s agility and athleticism he wouldn’t be able to find a way to bring the big down with the match ending with Throwing Crucifix Powerbomb.
Winner: Night Sky

We would have a scene backstage, where we would be introduced to Priscilla Bubblegum who would explain her role as an interview for PWE before welcoming Cali Kid as her first guest. Cali Kid would make it clear that as a representative of the state of California it was his responsibility to advance to the next round of the tournament and that Malhumorada and Pandah were both pair of losers that he couldn’t wait to lay his hands on, but that tonight he would make an example out of Muerte Naranja. Cali Kid would end the segment, by dedicating his guaranteed victory tonight to all the citizens of San Diego.
------------------------------------------------------
E-Mote vs. Mosquetero de Japón [Group E]
E-Mote would prove to be popular with the local population of Indians in the San Diego area, who it would seem had come out especially to see him. The Indian wrestler would put on a good showing, but would really be no match for the far more experienced Mosquetero who would end the contest by forcing E-Mote to tap out after singing in a Fujiwara Armbar.
Winner: Mosquetero de Japón
------------------------------------------------------
Muerte Naranja vs. Cali Kid [Group C]
Cali Kid had talked a big game going into this contest, he would get a sharp snap back into reality as the Young Lion Muerte Naranja would cut Cali in his track with a well placed superkick which was branded as the ‘Fanta Kick’ and bring the match to an end.
Winner: Muerte Naranja

Reaper would make his first television appearance and would be joined by Canadian wrestler Alto. Alto would make it clear that Reaper was the sound of the future. The literal future as Alto would start selling Reaper, as a time traveller from the year 4000 who had travelled back from a world in which everyone that wasn’t part of the global monarchy was a slave to the prison system, in which all prisoners were forced to fight in the dome. Or sent to work in a penal colony. Alto would make it clear that Reaper had been forced back in time to win the fiesta otherwise he would be put to death. The gimmick was stupid to say the very least, with it almost seemed as though PWE had struggled to find a gimmick for the Reaper character.
------------------------------------------------------
Street King vs. Niebla [Group G]
Niebla’s return to the ring would certainly get some pops from the San Diego crowd especially from the sections of the crowd that are more than akin to the Mexican wrestling scene. This might have resulted in him being popular with the crowd, but it didn’t affect the outcome of the result as Street King would nail Niebla with a Vertebreaker to win the match.
Winner: Street King
------------------------------------------------------
Senor Loco vs. Krysis [Group A]
The contest would be fast paced and surprisingly quicker than anyone had been expecting, as Senor Loco would totally catch Krysis out and completely dominate him in the contest by claiming a victory in under five minutes and would do so after connecting with the Loco DDT (Asai DDT).
Winner: Senor Loco
------------------------------------------------------
Priscilla Bubblegum would interview Rey Púrpura, who would be taking part in the show’s main-event. Púrpura would make it quite clear that he had no respect for anyone in Group E and that he hoped that he would be offered some sort of challenge in the later rounds. When Bubblegum pushed Rey for who out of the whole field, he considered as the biggest threat the only name that would be brought up was Velocidad.
------------------------------------------------------
Pandah vs. Malhumorada [Group C]
Both the very unique characters would put on a very interesting contest, with the San Diego fans not sure who to cheer for or even what to think of the encounter that would take place between the two competitors. The match would end in disqualification, as Pandah would strike Malhumorada in the back with a steel chair but show no mercy as he would nail the blue faced demon with a DDT directly on the chair before proceeding to ripping the prosthetic tongue directly out of the mask to add insult to injury.
Winner: Malhumorada (via DQ)
------------------------------------------------------
ElectroBuzz vs. Rey Púrpura [Group E]
In the final match of the evening, ElectroBuzz would have a strong showing and showcase some of his talent as one of the hottest prospects in the Japanese wrestling scene, although it was clear from very start that Rey was going to be a tough nut to crack. Rey though would show just why he had been wrestling in the industry for so long, as he would nail Buzz with the Barrendero (Pedigree) to bring an end to not only the contest, but the end of the first day of the fiesta.
Winner: Rey Púrpura
