i did too tbh, i still think open setup or a vig was needed for the first time, too much guessing for my taste, and i dont like scum having powers when town dont. but these are very minor complaints, i still think it worked out fairly well regardless of these minor issues for me

that being said, i still prefer the thrill of lynching scum. lynching town on purpose doesnt really have that same...je ne sais quoi

Yeah + Town wants to get their best out soon which leaves your less experienced or more scum read in the end game. Then you get whatever this was

yeah but the flip side to this is town lynches ONE scum, and have to get to final 4. thats equally fucking harsh and a million phases lol. imo should have been 4 scum, no execute

like the main issue is that as town, u never actually get ahead of anything by lynching town other then inching closer to victory. but the second your not perfect, you add a bunch of phases and more chances to fuck up. in a regular game, town is rewarded for lynching scum. it never feels like town ever gets rewarded for anything in this setup style, only punished. so it feels extra harsh. just my 2 cents

This was why I went for 3 scum instead of 4.

I must say the game went better than I expected. I needed to keep it as vanilla as possible first time around. Maybe i'll work on it a bit and revisit it down the line but I think this one can be put on the shelf for a while.
