don't agree, your theory presupposes he knew exactly what his alignment and win condition is and then did the thing that would work directly oppositional to it. More likely he just conflated his win condition with his alignment and role and wanted to just put his role on the record because it's an easy and lazy thing town do all the timehow is it convoluted to try to get lynched when that's your win condition? I don't really see why he would claim out of the gate as town, I think doing that is even less likely in fact. if you look at his play here compared to when he was the jester it is similar. all other games I've seen him play he's been inavtive.
If's Day 1. There's no reason to lean into WIFOM that hardI mean, it could be faked confusion. Of course that's another WIFOM
sounds more like something I'd do than you tbh, you'd probably want to absolve yourself of blame if your team loses because "hey I did my job and got myself lynched"also think about it, if i was scum, id be trying to lynch weak scum players on my team, not trying to lynch myself
Well it's good enough for at least 2 people

Yea this is where I currently land as wellThe sum of this reasoning is you could be scum or town, I don't trust you
And I feel good about that because of you're town, like I am, you would also not want to get yourself lynched right away but rather stick around and help your team win
