BLOCK D FIFTH ROUND MATCHES
The fifth round of Block D matches saw Edge take on Jon Moxley, the match lasted eighteen minutes. It saw Edge pick up another win this time by hitting back to back Spears on his opponent.
Next Jay White defeat Steve Maclin after hitting a Blade Runner into one of the corners of the ring.

INTERMISSION
Back from intermission Jeff Cobb countered an attempted Kinshasa from Shinsuke Nakamura into the Tour of the Islands to put an end to their thirteen minute match.
Finally it was time to see the “Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar take on the “Cleaner” Kenny Omega. Lesnar brutalized his opponent for the first ten minutes of their twenty five minute match. In the end Omega fought out of an attempted F5 and landed in front of Lesnar and hit a trifecta of V-Triggers for the pin.

The fifth round of Block B matches opened with Spike Trivet versus Chris Jericho. Trivet got the shock upset win over Y2J after he hit a Cradle Piledriver.
Next Alexander Hammerstone tangled with the “Ace” Hiroshi Tanahashi in a match that went for seventeen minutes. The conclusion saw Hammerstone hit a top rope variation of the Nightmare Pendulum for the pin.
Keith Lee got another win this time over Blake Christian when he hit the Pounce. And then followed it up with the Big Bang Catastrophe.
After that Claudio Castagnoli took on John Cena in the last match before the intermission. The match ended in a time limit draw as a result both men earned another point.
INTERMISSION
Back from intermission, Tetsuya Naito attempted to defeat the “American Nightmare” Cody Rhodes. The former would fail in his attempt as the latter put him down for the count with back to back Cross Rhodes.
Then Finn Balor went one on one with Zack Sabre Jr in a seventeen minute thriller of a contest. In the end Balor was able to hit the Bloody Sunday for the pin.
After that Kazuchika Okada took Nick Aldis on in the penultimate match of the event. The “Norfolk Nobleman” got the upset victory with a Diving Elbow Drop at the twenty minute mark.
Finally the main event saw Randy Orton versus Will Ospreay to close out the show. The match went for twenty seven minutes and saw Orton hit a Super RKO off the top rope for the pin.

The sixth round opened with Roman Reigns versus Alex Shelley and it was more evenly contested than a lot of people would expect. The ending saw Reigns come out on top of a brawl with Shelley to attempt a Spear only for the latter to counter it into a roll up but the the time ran out.
Next MJF took on Seth Rollins in a match that lasted fifteen minutes and saw the former submit the latter with the Salt of the Earth.
Then Sanada faced off with the “Phenomenal” AJ Styles in the second last match before the intermission. It saw the latter fight out of an attempted Skull End and then right himself then turned to face his opponent.
From here Styles kicked Sanada in the gut and then put him in position for and hit the Styles Clash for the pin.
After that El Hijo Del Vikingo tore the house down with Carmelo Hayes. The duo went back and forth for around eighteen minutes and saw EHDV pin CH with a 630 Splash for the win.

Back from intermission and Blake Christian took on John Cena and man did this match go completely the way we thought it would with Cena getting the easy win. Just kidding, a huge upset took place when Christian fought out of attempted AA. By raking Cena across the face and then rolled him up with a handful of tights and used the ropes for leverage.
Next the “Ace” Hiroshi Tanahashi took on Spike Trivet in a decent ten minute match. That saw Trivet get the win after hitting a Cradle Piledriver off the second rope.
The penultimate match saw Chris Jericho defeat Alexander Hammerstone after laying the latter out with a Judas Effect. Then forced his opponent into the Walls of Jericho and instead of submitting Hammerstone passed out in the hold.
Finally the night closed out with Claudio Castagnoli taking on Keith Lee. The match ended at the twenty two minute mark and resulted in a double pin situation.
