:maury You can have them, having endured 2 years of them thinking they're hot shit while completely sucking I don't know why anyone would take them

We may have our differences but I love that we can all come together as a forum collectively and agree that Gallows and Anderson are mid.

So it looks like Karl is booked on November 5 to defend his title at an NJPW show. I was assuming he'd drop it to someone at WK bc I didn't see them giving Hikuleo a title run so early but maybe they won't have a choice? Maybe Trips goes wild and returns them soon and still let's them work Wrestle Kingdom in January?
he's def. just dropping it to Hikuleo in November imo. NJPW will get a few tweets worth of promotion and that will be that.

It’s crazy Karl Anderson returned to WWE when he’s still champ in another company. I didn’t know that was allowed lmao

its a pretty "wtv" belt but while champion from elsewhere is probably extremely rare, both AJ and Punk signed contract that let them finish up elsewhere. I want to say maybe Punk MIGHT have been roh champ at some point? unsure

Yeah but they didn’t debut with WWE while champ.

I mean, pretty close:

Punk went on to win the title from Austin Aries in June 2005 even though Punk had already accepted a deal from WWE. In what became known as the “Summer of Punk,” he repeatedly threatened to take the ROH World Title with him to WWE before losing it that August.

I think its a nice touch but I very much doubt this means anything other than Anderson was a free agent while being champ and ill just drop it whenever he can. If he has more than one njpw date booked, Im sure WWE will let him finish up. I doubt it means any sort of partnership, just that with Vince gone WWE can not only do this kind of stuff but also acknowledge other companies if they so choose.

Yeah I know about the summer of punk but he didn’t debut until dropping the belt lol. But I guess they’ll just let him drop it.
