who is we? and then you are doing it wrong then. Any time you win a bet you get your winnings + what you bet back. That is common sense man.
There's a special rule for it. And by we I mean a specific running organization. You don't get your money back.

Well that makes no sense. +100 odds always dicate you are betting 100 to win 100. So if you bet 100 on someone or some team to win, you get your 100 back +100 that you won.

lol, no. There is nothing interesting or risky about it, just moronic. Why would anyone put money up on a wager with no chance of getting at least your money back + something more? That is the entire point of gambling. Risking an asset you have for a chance at more of said asset.
It's the point of betting upon the person who isn't favored to win. You either try your luck on them or don't play at all.

Dolph's does it on occasion, I've done it, Roadster does the shit on the regular.
I actually think it's funny to look back on what the post WM RAW thoughts were from a lot of people. I'm still waiting for team Miz Dolph Ryder.
