Mainly because he ran through an average Rock promo of throwing out insults with an odd mix of seriousness. He lacked the passion imo but that's not a case of holding back more a case of him not being really interested.

I think it would be different if Rock was again a full time member of WWE. What's the difference between this Rock and Hollywood Rock? Absolutely none, accept for 1 being a heel and other being face.

That's a huge difference however, Hollywood Rock used his natural arrogance whilst this one seems to be more him just filling in his dates you know?

Yeah, It seems Rock is just scared to completely get into the WWE. He's an actor now.

The difference between this 'Rock' and hollywood Rock is that this Rock is just Dwayne Johnson trying to play The Rock but he's forgotten how. He's lost his touch, and while I marked to most of what he did, it just wasn't the same.

His crowd control and charisma are still awe inspiring though.

I'm not too keen on promos on any PPV let alone WM tbh, they tend to cram too much shit in anyway. Look at 27 he got a fair bit of promo time and it could have been replaced with a great opener.
