My mother was brushed out Mali (borzoi) couple days ago and Didn't realize how hard she was pressing to get the lose hairs out. He had whined for a second and looked over at her and then went back to surveying the outdoors while Continued brushing. I Went to give him his tubby the other morning and found a few Dried Scabs on his ribs area. Mom felt Sooo bad when I pointed it out she almost cried. And kept telling him she was sorry and didnt mean to do that. He understood by bopping his nose into her Arm. Lol. I've just been putting some Lubricated Medication on the area and looks to be healing up quickly. Yay!

*gasp* So that's how he ended up injured! And I thought u were an animal lover!...
I suspect he'll be recovering within the next week. You all but killed him and the rest of my pack is NOT very happy.
