This will probably be a good match. Don't care about the mic work, the dude can work in the ring well.

I was not watching wrestling back then. But I don't think WWE would go for a 60 minute one. When Shawn Michaels did a lot of iron man matches in his hayday I know that they were either 15 or 30 minutes.

Ahh, alrighty. Looking into it the last one was Cena/Orton. Thought there was another 30 minute one on Raw or something, but Wiki says otherwise.
A 30 minute Bryan/Orton Ironman would be fantastic.

Alot he rocked a few on the HS with the rockers but he didn't too many I know of. Also there's been like 4 on PPV (3 hour ones- Bret / HBK, Rock / HHH and Cena / Orton with Benoit and Angle rocking an Ultimate submission thing at some point for 30 odd if you want to count that shit on a friday night)

Why are people sleeping on Orton like he's some rookie? He can outwork 92.345% of the current male roster.

For me it's just because I'm not an Orton fan. So I don't care to see him in an Iron Man match against Bryan.

Not being a fan is one thing but people seem to be doubting his ability, I'm not hot on him but I'll admit he works very well. Different strokes for different folks I guess.

I don't want to see anyone in an ironman match, let alone Orton. It makes the first half hour seem like a chore.

And I've always been familiar w/ 60 minute iron man matches, not 30. I'm assuming this would be an hour.

Ahh, I gotcha. Yeah, personally I'm not doubting his ability, just that if I was going to watch that match I'd rather see someone else in it. But I do see what you're saying.

Orton to me is like ADR for other people. Yea, he's a good worker, but he bores me to shit in the ring.

I'm not sure if those two can mesh together for that extended period of time.

Chemistry is another thing. The OP just seemed like his ability wasn't there or something, but Orton definitely has it in him. Whether they can mash together is another thing. I don't particularly mind seeing this match to be honest. They've had some sick matches in the past so I think the match itself will be fun to watch, there's nothing else going on in the midcard to suggest that this iron man match is stealing other people's time, and Iron Man matches really tend to help build and add stuff on to feuds. If we're in for another month of Bryan and Orton after this match, then I want some extra excitement/history between them.

I never meant to discount his ability. I was a HUGE Orton mark back during the Evolution days and Legend Killer days. I just don't want to see either of them put on a sub par match. Just a bad feeling is all.
