There is speculation that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon could be returning to television soon as part of the Drew McIntyre "firing" storyline. As of right now, the current plan is for McMahon to reinstate McIntyre and possibly fire Friday Night SmackDown General Manager Theodore Long. We have been told that there has been talk over the past few days about bringing the "Mr. McMahon" character back to television, despite previous talk about ending the character for good. We should reiterate that this news has not been officially confirmed as of yet.

Seriously. Once I saw the spoilers thread and saw that
Vince wrote a letter giving Drew's title back
, I thought that he would return to TV.

God No!!! Keep Mr. McMahon dead & buried. The character is a waste of tv time & every time its on any WWE show it takes total focus of the show away from the wrestlers. In all the years he's been around the business you'd think that Vince McMahon would've learned to do a decent job selling a bump. Go watch anytime Stone Cold gave him a stunner, Vince's idea of selling it is to make it look like he's having a seizure.

First a re-hash of Edge/Vickie and now this. His character hasn't been relevant in 10 years. Having "Mr. McMahon" beaten by Bret Hart made sense since that was the impetus for it. Please leave it be!

I think that bringing back the Mr. McMahon character makes alot of sense, especially since Drew seems to bring up being 'The Chosen One' whenever he can. McMahon was imo one of the best heat drawing characters of the last 10 years or so. What better way to get more heat for McIntyre then having McMahon on-screen back him up and potentially make him out to be the next corporate champion.

A rehash? God good it wasn't even two hours. Then, Vince Mcmahon has remained insanely over for this entire time. Not relevant? Turning Bobby Lashley into a semi-credible main eventer all by himself begs to differ.

Vince is still the best drawing star after HHH and Cena. I would love for him to come back as a face GM on Smackdown.

lol. What heat? He gets bigger on this site alone than he does when he wrestles. And that's not heel heat. That's "you suck, go away, get the fuck outa here" heat.

Indeed.... Also, worth noting that Vinces matches at WM17, 19 & 22 all get majority props from the IWC; All of which were less than 10 years ago.

Oh, and he also played a pivotal role in kicking off, arguably, this year's best WM fued (Cena/Batista).

Yeah Cena/Batista feud was great and the Bret feud could have been as well but Bret was so limited, it didn't work out. Mr. McMahon will draw until his casket drops. The reason that "The Chosen One" sort of dried up was because Mr. McMahon was too busy dealing with Bret, Cena, Batista in the midst of RTWM. Now that he can be fully focused, maybe he can do Drew some justice. I haven't given up on McIntyre yet.
