Former WWE wrestler Nathan Jones is in talks with WWE officials about a possible return to the company, reports this weekend's edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

In 2003, WWE had some very big plans for Jones, but his initial push flopped and he was off television within three months. His wrestling skills were so bad that at the last minute, WWE pulled him from his scheduled tag match with Undertaker at WrestleMania XIX. The storyline excuse for this was that he was "injured." He was taken off television all together a few weeks later. Nathan was then sent to OVW to improve his wrestling skills. It was during this period that Jones appeared in a bit part for the movie Troy. Jones was brought back to the main roster in November 2003 for the Survivor Series. One month later during an international tour when they were in his native Australia, Jones quit the company. The rigor of the WWE lifestyle, compounded by dyslexia, became too much for Nathan, and he quit the company on December 6, 2003.

Since his departure from WWE in 2003, he's only worked a handful of wrestling matches, instead choosing to concentrate on his acting career. Jones came together with WWE once again in 2006, this time under the WWE Films banner, playing 'The Russian' in The Condemned, starring "Stone Cold" Steve Austin.

I sure hope not. I hated him in the Lesnar era, and don't want him back.

I don't think it's smart to sign back someone who had to be pull off from events thanks to lack of skills.

I hope he doesn't come back, Vince has of late let the wrestlers return to their former sizes so he may be shifting from the smaller wrestlers back to the bigger guys that he once had a fetish for. Nathan Jones may fit this, it's all about ratings for Vince and that's partially what he might get from it due to Jones already being in a mainstream movie.

The roster can't support someone like that at this time, he isn't someone really big. Jones was pointless, his gimmick was pointless as well and there is no need to bring him back in the WWE and especially when the roster is full of all types of blueberries, no need to bring in another blueberry like Nathan Jones.

He had to drop his fetish for big guys for a while after Congress got on him for the use of steroids in the WWE, now he is going back to where they were before hand because Congress is not on the WWE as much as they were back earlier in 2007.

Jones didn't do nothing when he was there, why would he do something now? If he could wrestle, I understand but he can't. He should go back to being a henchmen in movies, probably makes more money there then in the E.

oh thank god...I thought it was a possible Pacman Jones return

I dont see whats so great about this, WWE already has plenty of young talented wrestlers that they can push, I honestly dont think they need Jones right now
