Then I fail to see what the issue even is, outside of a few references to his death made throughout the show.

And in regards to Raw Is Owen, I don't see why they should take it out... not that it'd make a big difference either way.
Like I said, the issue is WWE doesn't want people who are unaware of what happened finding out that they essentially killed Owen Hart. Bad for business.

Will anyone really care? I don't think it really makes them look bad since it was just a freak accident. There's always a small possibility that if newer fans see Owen Hart in the archive footage on the Network, they'll decide to look him up and end up finding out how he died anyway. (If they look deeper into it, they'll also find out that Vince sued the harness company into oblivion over it.)

Sorry, didn't look at it again.

But the fact is they should have stopped the show, imagine if Cena died at EC the show would have halted and that's that. Owen was wheeled away with his blood in a corner? c'mon guys that's common sense at least change the mat like they do now.

The tribute show was shit to, i respect the people who agreed to work but really i don't want my 2 hours of entertainment to be blasted with really emotional wrestlers. i think they should have done the same thing they did with Benoit, highlights of his career.

The show was filled with squash matches which had no deal being there. Keep the tribute speeches but not 1 1/2 hours of squash matches and 30 mins of wrestlers crying.

I doubt anyone would care I'm just telling you why I think they are doing it this way, because you and I both know WWE is obsessed with its public image.

Was it a freak accident? It was something he wasn't comfortable doing, shouldn't have been doing and WWE basically forced him into it by guilting him because he was the ultimate company man. A freak accident is getting hit by a bus. WWE played a much larger part of Owen's death than 'freak accident' IMO.

That's just completely irrational. So have a bunch of people just do matches and show highlights of his career instead of having his coworkers express their feelings about Owen? That's not how fucking death works. In my mind you're being completely selfish. They did the same thing they did with Owen with Eddie, even though they showcased parts of his career and other matches that night. Entertainment isn't always focused around the fans. The people who worked with and loved Owen as a man deserved to talk about their grievances and express their condolences for his family. Look at how Mark Henry and Debra reacted that night. You're telling me that they should've just sat there and did nothing, and just let it be a typical episode of RAW is War? No. To add another example, look at Benoit and Batista at Eddies tribute show. Both of them broke down crying because of how much they loved the guy.

In short, the PPV shouldn't be edited, and you're being completely selfish and irrational for asking WWF to put on a show and not care about how their workers felt about Owen.

i already said keep the tributes but fill the match slots with his career highlights, i never said don't do the tributes.

He didn't have that many career highlights, and why not have people perform? It makes sense to have them win if they were Owens friend.

I prefer the Benoit tribute show layout, but I'm not against how they handled the Raw is Owen show. The emotional interviews given by wrestlers might not be your thing, but I found it touching. The random squash matches was one thing, but basically they went to the locker room and asked who wants to work and the guys who did it were doing it as a tribute to Owen.
