TNA star D'Angelo Dinero has announced on Twitter that he's no longer with the company and is now a free agent.

@DaBlackPope tweeted on Tuesday:

"Pope's Contract expired with TNA on Jan 1, I will not be resigning. Thanks to Dixie and the whole TNA Family for a wonderful 3+ Years."

"And for the SM's out there, THIS is not a storyline."
Not fussed about this at all, wasn't a fan of the guy and he hadn't been used in forever.

I'll never forget the wonderful storyline he had with D'Von and his 2 kids. Leave the memories alone. :(

Well, I didn't mind him when he was a midcarder but TNA's plan to push someone new every month to the main event when he was rushed there by winning that Against All Odds tournament ruined him. He wasn't ready and TNA wasn't ready to keep him there.

Now it doesn't matter because he hasn't done anything relevant for too damn long.

He's one of the most unlikeable (is that even a word) guys in wrestling, for me at least.

I just don't understand how anyone could root for his character when it's so obnoxious and irritating. Seems like a prick in real life what with the Punk stuff too.

Really hope WWE don't go near him again.

This guy will not be going anywhere of note.

A one-trick pony who was given more than a push and squandered it.

Not really surprised by this considering how little he had been used in the past 12 months. Still a pretty big fall from grace since he was at one stage challenging for the TNA World title yet after that shoulder injury just completely dropped out of the picture. I liked him as the leader of the New Breed and was surprised when WWE released him in the first place. Very solid midcarder and I can see WWE taking another look at him.

Never a big fan of the guy, and from TNA's point of view he is expendable as they need to cut costs when possible. Not sure WWE will be interested again, think he has enough about him to be a solid midcard act somewhere.

I actually enjoyed him early on around 2010, but his feuds with Abyss and D-Von were awful. It seems like whenever he cuts a promo, it’s so cartoony and not believable. Good riddance I guess.
