JLS Unveil ‘Jukebox’ Album Cover

Funky divas JLS today revealed the cover for ‘Jukebox’ - their third studio album. Due on November 14th, the colourful set is preceded by chart smash ‘She Makes Me Wanna’ and new single ‘Take A Chance On Me’.

Beyond wondering which shade of MAC they use, I can’t but question what separates them musically and visually from what they were doing 3 years ago. When that answer is a resounding ‘nothing’, their longevity immediately comes back into question.
Still, they seem to be on a “strike while the iron’s hot” MO, so more power them them, ay?

The 23 year old was snapped shooting another scene for her ‘We Found Love’ video in Ireland yesterday, and rocked a daring breast-baring ensemble.
A self-declared role-model for young girls, we’re not sure this will aid the Bajan’s cause. Neither will the cigarette she was spotted puffing on – the smoke from which could easily define her career.
Still, with the Calvin Harris song sitting atop of many an iTunes tally, it seems folk aren’t choking on the tobacco just yet. One has to wonder how long this whole farce will continue for.

Rihanna Runs the Streets on Day 2 of ‘We Found Love’ Video Shoot

Rihanna turned up the volume on the second day of her video shoot for “We Found Love” in Northern Ireland on Tuesday (Sept. 27). Wearing a denim bra, skirt, and torn stockings, the pop siren got on the megaphone and commanded the crowd. Fans lined the streets of Belfast to get a glimpse of the action, as RiRi ran on the pavement and performed scenes with a white vintage sports car. The shoot continued at night at a fish and chips shop.
The day before, a scantily-clad RiRi shot scenes in an open field, wearing a bandana top and baggy jeans. According to PEOPLE, an Irish farmer who had given her crew permission to use his field, shut down the production and chided the pop star for her “inappropriate” wardrobe.
“I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends,” he said. “Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God.”

Rihanna Flaunts Blonde Beauty for British Vogue

Rihanna reinvents herself on the classy cover of British Vogue‘s November issue. The Barbados beauty strikes a bold pose in a short blonde wig and flower embroidered dress, with her hands by her sides. In a second image, she poses on a rooftop in a pencil skirt, fur stole, and beret. The fashionista has already covered the U.S. edition of Vogue, but this marks her first time on the British version.

“That’s not me. That’s a part I play,” the 23-year-old singer tells the magazine of her risqué music video looks. “You know, like it’s a piece of art… I just want to make music.”

Rihanna’s “LOUD” tour will stop in Dublin today before making its way to London’s O2 Arena for two consecutive nights.

Christmas comes early for Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber fans. The pop diva will be spreading more cheer this holiday season with a newly completed collaboration with the teen idol. The labelmates have recorded a duet of Mariah’s Christmas classic “All I Want for Christmas Is You.”

Mariah broke the news in a video posted online. “Justin and I are doing this duet together. It is my song ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You,’ which I wrote and produced,” she told fans. “I think a lot of you are already very surprised by this and you’re going to be even more surprised when you hear it. The song sounds great. I’m very excited for everybody to hear it this Christmas and to be totally festive with our festive collabo.”
The song will appear on Justin’s Christmas album Under the Mistletoe, which also features collaborations with Busta Rhymes, Usher, and Boyz II Men. It arrives in stores November 1.

Almost a year since her famed single ‘Whip My Hair‘ sets the charts ablaze, recent months have seen things quieten down at Team Willow Smith after the release of ‘Hair’s follow up ’21st Century Girl’.

Now that is all about change.

Here’s to hoping the release which we can assume is named ‘Fireball‘ enjoys the same or similar success to its predecessors, for with all eyes on the pre-teen to see how she will fare commercially upon the release of her debut album.

Adele’s reign atop global charts since her critically and commercially acclaimed ‘21′ was released has seen the ‘Rolling In the Deep’ songstress roll in impressive accolades.
However, the gain and consequent maintenance of such success is seemingly coming with a price. For, not too long after resuming her postponed trek due to vocal damage and fatigue, the British beauty has been forced to curtail her tour plans yet again due to the recurring condition.

Kudos to Adele who, much like fellow diva Christina Aguilera, is taking the proper steps to preserve their instruments. Hopefully fellow belters in the industry follow suit. The Pattis, Gladys, Tinas, and Arethas of the world didn’t get to their golden ages (and still be able to do what they do) without proper treatment of their tools.​

Lady GaGa Haunts Harlem In ‘Monstrous’ Ensemble

Landing back in New York City no more than two days after embarking on a short promotional based visit to the United Kingdom, Pop’s favorite debutante Lady GaGa was snapped in Harlem recently dressed in what can only be described as morbid fashions.

Seen on the way to the set of her latest music video for the single ‘Marry The Night‘, the sighting comes just days after she gave details regarding her upcoming LP which is expected to score a 2012 release date.

It is safe to say that the last year has been nothing short of a blessing for Brit belter Adele.
From releasing one of the highest selling albums in chart history to serving as an headlining act for every award show from the Brit Awards to the VMA‘S, 2011 has been good to Ms. Adkins.

Her single ‘Someone Like You‘ has now sold over 2 million copies, in the United States alone.
