Man, I really want to start a new game, but I don't know if I want to reset yet. It's not about my Pokemon, Goo and Moist I'll miss, DouShay, Nelly, and Lucy are whatever, and I'll happily kill Ghost Pepper, I just feel dirty to reset it so soon

Wait until you can use Pokebank. It is only $5 a year. Then you can keep your mons and start new again.
