I think it's pretty amusing that a few weeks ago if you're above the age of 20 or so and you publicly said you enjoy Pokemon, a common reaction was "LOL you play Pokemon? What a nerd!" But now Pokemon Go is out and everyone is like "OMG Pokemon is so awesome!"

*sigh* Trends, haha.

Even my mom knew what it was so that says it all right there. They have had it on the news here. Yet I still see people who bash "adults" for playing it or Pokemon in general. I never understood why you would make fun of a person who enjoyed games because they aren't a child. To me, if it reduces stress and makes you a more enjoyable human being to be around in this world, GO FOR IT! I got made fun of over Pokemon in high school so I stopped enjoying it and I am mad that I did that.

People suck. Everyone is under this notion that you have to grow up. That is the worst advice I was ever given. Taking responsibility is one thing, you don't have to cut the cord to your childhood to be responsible.

My interests caused me to be alienated from a lot of people, but I'd rather enjoy what I enjoy instead of giving things up or changing myself just to fit in.

Also, has anyone else seen all those "My Pokemon Gym" videos on Youtube? It is honestly fun seeing what people would make and how many people would make them over-powered. At the same time...would be fun to do.
