Also, the depth to competitive... even with a limited dex seems to be pretty cool. And I know a couple of co-workers have a switch... I WILL TRY TO GET THEM INTO COMPETETIVE POKEMON AND MAKE THE CAFE INTO A COMPETITIVE BATTLE SCENE ON DAYS WE ALL ARE OFF!

I am still not a fan of chungamaxing pokemon.

The menu looks really nice.

I don't know. Nothing is really standing out in this game for me yet to make me feel the need to get it. The more I hear about it, the more I just want to stick to ShowDown. The fact that they nerfed the dex which will ultimately hinder competitive in the long run is disappointing.

I think there seem to be more and more positives as a whole. The competive stuff in this video seem promising and Dynamaxing I am warming up to a bit more as you can either dynamax anyone in a pinch or make your team centered around one dynamaxed mon. I hope there can be a bit of variety despite the smaller dex.

Maybe I am just a bit drained on the franchise? I still enjoy battles but I don't know if it is worth paying for the game to play the story. I mean, I would have to also get a Switch on top of this so it isn't going to be a cheap purchase. I do want a Switch for other games but I am not in a rush.
