Screwing with opponent's speed is good for giving Heracross the chance to set up a Swords Dance. If he can't sweep, then I send out Scolipede which is damn sure gonna outspeed anything after a sticky web is put in play.

Oh, I know I use to mainly run Bug and always made sure Sticky Web was on my team. Scolipede is great and has used it on my mono bug before, but if played wrong it is useless, lol. But, yeah Sticky Web and even Rocks/Spikes/T-Spikes are somewhat needed on Bug mono, either way, it was fun.

Now, it is time for me to make a list of shiny Pokemon to hunt. I will probably use the SOS method as I don't have a foreign Ditto for the Matsuda method, and I am not sure I want to go through the hassle of finding a legend through the wormholes.

A couple which come to mind.

Grubbin
Rockruff
Eevee ( I already have a Shiny Sylveon btw)
Cubone (Shiny Alolan Marowak is badass)
Pichu/Pikachu

If I were to ever shiny hunt, it'd be Mankey and Eevee. Mankey for personal reasons, and Eevee because Espeon is my favorite shiny. That fact is funny, since Espeon is one of my least favorite eeveeloutions

Espeon had too much time in the grass.

I tried for Grubbin but even with harvest/leppa, it struggled >.<

So doing Pichu and Pikachu now. Encounter number, idk, but on pause while I am out of the house. Game is plugged in and still on the battle.

I don't know why, but I absolutely love green shinies, and Espeon is the best shade. It wasn't always my favorite, but people hating green shinies brought it up in my ranks

And meanwhile, despite the fact Noodles is my Pokemin bae, I hate its shiny.

Also hate Noodles' shiny. Its green is far too saturated, and the fact that it isn't Dragonair blue saddens me

I think I've outdone my last team, this one is so fun. VGC 2018. Heliolisk is so strong in sun, and double Heat Wave is devastating.

Muk was originally Gastrodon, but Nihilego gave me too many issues. Heatran is a big problem too, considering HP Ground on Blacephalon for that.

Yeah, some great offensive threats on the special front and with Hitmontop and Muk to fill tanking roles. Not bad.

I am so rusty with competitive of any sort. .-.
