Ouch, yeah, random battles are fun, but I like building sets. Been doing that a lot in Sun and Moon. I have 250 hours almost right now and I just caught some Ultra-Beats to train. Also...getting the battle items you need is EVIL! I don't want to need to switch items all the time so I am needing multiple Assualt vests, life orbs and focus sashes and the battle tree is mean even with EV trained mons and good sets :why:

Ice isn't a good type, in the slightest, but this playthrough made it my new favorite type

I have not even attempted that but I would imagine using an ice team gave you quite the challenge. I do like ice Pokemon, but most are just too fragile.

Hala and Olivia kicked my ass, and despite Lapras, fire types were really tough to handle too, but overall I thought it was really fun. I think I'll try bug next, I just wish mega Beedrill was available

I would not mind doing a mono-water playthrough sometime. I can make a fairly diverse team.

But first, I'm going through my moon version to catch competitively viable UBs, Tapus, and Moon exclusives.
