It depends on how you use it. I think it would be fine to just leave him. Just make sure you have Pokemon around him that can take hits and move fast.

I guess if it hurts me later on, it's not like I can't evolve him later. But yeah, I'll try to keep him as a Torracat and work around that with the other pokemon. Thanks

Yeah, Road to Regionals is great. Shady hosts aonstreams on Twitch too which is a really fun VGC tournament.
