I can't wait for Natal to come out, it is alot cheaper than what I would have thought, I am definately getting it for Christmas. This is the first I have ever heard of PS Move, Natal definately seems like more of a landscape in gaming history.

Well I got to play with Playstation Move today......and although I'm not completely sold as many of the offerings that are coming out to work with it are Wii-ish in nature, and there is certainly a place for that, and sure I knew Move would be more capable then Wii, but its not just doing the Wii better then the Wii, it is capable of so much more then what Wii can do.

Clear up some of the mis conceptions though. First, the Move Controller and Navagation controller have the same USB set up that your other PS3 accesorries have meaning they charge the same way. Sony had showed off a nice docking station which can hold any combination of 2 Move and/or Navagation Controllers to charge and the misconception came out that this was the only way to charge them, that is not the case, it was designed to charge 2 at once because with all the accessories out there (incuding the PS3 Eye Camera that is required for use of the Move) they are kinda running out of USB ports.

Next the Navagation controller is just the left side of a regular PS3 controller. This means it is not required for ANY game. Games that require the navagation can be played just as easily by holding your regular PS3 controller in your left hand and the Move Controller in the right. The Navagation Controller is completely optional.

The Sports pack that is being realeased was believed to include the Move, the Navagation, and the Sports Game. This is also incorrect. The Sports Pack does include the Sports game & the Move Controller, but it also includes a PS3 Eye. There is no Navagation controller because again, they are optional, not required.

The Playstation Eye that is used for Move is the same PS3 Eye Accessory they origianally came out with. Its not a different camera that is now required as some believed.

Bottom line is, yes it is very Wii-ish in style and nature, but the potential for so much more is there. And its only a matter of time before they full exploit it. Also with few exceptions Move Control games with be optional. The Sports game in the pack is Move Only, and EyePet is Move Only and The Fight is Move Only. Every other game so far is optional. Killzone 3, Socom 4, Little Big Planet 2, etc will all have the choice of how you want to play much like Mario Kart for the Wii gives you the choice.

Ultimately though its pretty sad for Nintendo when something your made so popular that everyone laughed at including Sony (which by the way when I mentioned this to the Sony reps they agreed) & Microsoft, now with Move & Kenectic it makes Nintendo's once state of the art Wii Motion Controls look like anciant technology.
