Former TNA X-Division star Petey Williams announced that his match last night in Detroit against Chris Sabin was his last match. There is no word on why he decided to retire so young. We wish him well. He tweeted the following:

For those who give a shit, liked him as little Petey Pump. Could've been more if he wasn't just known for that flip piledriver.

Pretty solid talent over the years, nothing special but had a decent spot and played it nicely. His involvement in the Team Canada faction, and the original X Division run would be my highlights. Good luck to him should the retirement stick.

The little Petey Pump gimmick got him more over than I thought he would be. That was entertaining as hell.

At the end of the day he'll be known for that awesome finishing move. Solid hand though.

I always thought that beyond his Canadian Destroyer he was actually a pretty solid wrestler. He was one of my favourite X-Division wrestlers back when I watched TNA in 2008-09.

I used to think the Canadian Destroyer was the coolest move when I first saw it but that's because I would have been like 9. I still did enjoy Petey though, he was good in Team Canada, and Little Petey Pump was hilarious.
