Petey Williams' future

This past Thursday night on iMPACT! we saw Petey Williams get viciously attacked by The Main Event Mafia. My question is, what is next for "Maple Leaf Muscle"? Basically, where do you think he will go from here? The guy has been impersonating Scott Steiner for months and he's gone nowhere, but now it seems that TNA has something planned for him. But what could it be?

I think next week Petey will get his revenge on the Mafia, or at least Scott Steiner. He'll then cut a promo about how he made a mistake over the past year, and he needs to go back to being the Canadian Destroyer. He then officially joins the TNA Originals, ditches the Steiner look and helps fight the Mafia from completely taking over TNA.

I think that being attacked will force him to side with Scott STeiner in the MEM, then later on down the road a confrontation happens with him and Steiner and they split up and Petey screws the Legends team out of the victory and gives the win to the new guys by going over to their team half way though.

Well one can only hope.

I think that TNA dont want to focus on the hate between Steiner/Williams. They may make him leave for a few weeks to sell the beat down, then return to screw the MEM out of a match. Afterwards, he joins the TNA Originals and it all just continues.

Umm guys he is ALREADY WITH THE TNA ORIGINALS! but i do think he will sit out until after the PPV to sell the beat down. and when he comes back he will probably lose the look and i hope to god TNA pushes Petey to the main event because i think he is one of the most underrated wrestlers in the world.

I think they will use it to improve his character, have him come back and take the reigns and put MCMG in their place, etc.

I have to agree he is one of TNA'S must underrated talents if not in the world.
He has to get the hell away from being a mini Scott Steiner and back to basic's he could easily take Christians place in the title hunt scene and would be able to carry off a title reign if built up the right way however I don't want to see them end then Main Event Maifa thing yet it's too early...It has potiental if pushed right and slowly built not rushed and over too soon.
