I still need to watch X, but I heard it was great and I love Brittany Snow. This is meant to be a prequel so I might watch these both around the same time.

“Filmmaker Ti West returns with another chapter from the twisted world of X in this astonishing follow-up to the year’s most acclaimed horror film. Trapped on her family’s isolated farm, Pearl must tend to her ailing father under the bitter and overbearing watch of her devout mother.

“Lusting for a glamorous life like she’s seen in the movies, Pearl’s ambitions, temptations, and repressions all collide in the stunning, Technicolor-inspired origin story of X’s iconic villain.”

Damn does that Pearl Trailer hit harder now that I've seen X days ago. I dare to say Pearl has the potential to be even better a Film than X and that is saying something.

Okay so I watched Pearl and my God if you liked Mia Goth's performance in X she is to me even better in Pearl in my opinion. You get to see the life Pearl has at this time with Howard away at War in 1918 her descent into madness because of her living on the Farm that she wants to be while her Mother putting her down and making her feel less than at every turn in her life. Let me tell when she unleashes that madness on people it's freaking great and the Ending itself had me marking hard especially when the Credits roll. I wanna talk more about the Film I want more of you guys to see it because I feel it's that good.

Really enjoyed X, I thought Mia Goth's character was insane and had a split personality when I realized she was playing two characters but the ending was a lot more straight-forward than what I expected. I'm curious to see this prequel now.
