If you ask me he was trying to attempt an early wagon on someone that's likely to remain null on play for a long time, a) to get a reaction out of the guy and b) to see who gets on the wagon and who doesn't and for what reason. Could be that I'm reading too deep into this but Magic likes to do that sorta thing and is probably town for it too.

Ye this is what magic does, pressures players he doesn't know D1 to get a read either from them or others pending their reactions.

Echoes my thoughts on Magic. You can be town too. This is fun, I'm already establishing a core.

These town reads seem pretty easy. Magic doesn't only do this as town, that'd be silly.

As I mentioned, noobs are very easy to identify the alignment of, so why not let Brad play his normal game and push him later when scum likely make up a larger proportion of the thread?

To appear to be doing something without actually doing much for one? It's a thing he's done in the past, it's a no effort replication of previous town play. Plenty of benefit for it, seeing as you're reading him town for it.

Mind I'm not reading him scum for it but I don't see anything in it to justify a town read

I always vote with Magic D1 and help him push inactives/newbs, it's not alignment indicative nor is Magic doing that. Anyone trying to sus or town read either of us based on the brad votes is being silly.
