Its probably the latter. Scum with a day kill is pretty rare. Mostly because town has no way to counter such a role.

I'm not saying its an insta town thing, but it does weigh more towards him being town.

These kinds of things are never certainties anyway. Reading people is a lot about playing the probabilities of different aspects together.

As I mentioned in my longer post, I probly gave him a town read too early so he’s null as he hasn’t done much at all

Well, Im inclined to think Magic is town atm - Hes obviously fully capable of subverting expectations but as scum, he gives new players softballs pretty consistently, whereas much like he did with shawn in the bond game, hes crawling straight up brads ass, and I can see him doing that with a town head on cause itd give him reads based on how others react to that
