I think it'd be good to add these options for upgrading/donating.

Not everyone can get cash onto their PayPal when they'd like too, so adding these options gives more users the ability to upgrade. Prices would be marginally higher as the company takes some money, but I don't see that being a great problem because TBH, the prices are currently low in my opinion :))

What do you think?

Don't even know how to set that up.

It's relatively simple to set up.
You basically only have to fill in like the price and stuff, and it generates the code.

Some companies: Surfpin, Boku, OneBip.

Don't really see the need. No one has issues paying normally as we offer both PayPal and GC (which takes cards), so not many people will have no way to pay at all.

I think the majority of the people who've upgraded are over 16, therefore they should have cards. I think Crayo is right Paypal and Google Checkout is by far the best way to go.

By the way Boku is shit. I use it for buying credits for a game called "IamPlayr" a football Roleplay game thing. And the amounts of times It's failed to go through is remarkable.

Good suggestion though.

You can't just expect people to have cards because they're 16 :pP
I know a lot of people who don't have cards, because they have no reason too.

I use Boku on RuneScape :)dawg:) and it's flawless for me every time. Sounds like that company hasn't got it setup right.

Pfft, People should learn to be grown up. I had my first Debit Card (Visa Electron) when I was 14, by the time I was 16 I already had £4,500 in it. :pity1:

I don't know, must be luck of the draw or something. This company is run through games on Facebook. & Have a few million gamers so I think they've set it up right. :smug:

Also I thought Boku was associated with just big companies Jagex, EA Sports, Facebook, Sony and other people. Would they accept a forum with just short of 3,000 members with the possibility of 1 person upgrading a month?

Tell that to them, not me. :smug:

Well, I don't know. Works fandabbydoby for me.

I'm not sure, I just know it's a company that does micropayments. :punk:

Don't they take quite a large portion? I just don't see the benefits at all, we've not really had anyone who can't upgrade. If it were a big problem it's something I would want to look into.

It's normally about 30%.
So a $5 upgrade would go to like, $7?

not really needed. we don't even have too many upgrades. most of us internet people use paypal. don't think anyone upgrading here will use those methods.
