I actually think they should continue with the feud with Big Show for Fast Lane. They may as well finish what they started with that, and besides, imagine if they had Roman do something like spear him through the stage set-up and put him on the shelf for a couple of weeks or so. It'd be a great way for Roman to make a statement and show Brock Lesnar just what kind of physical damage he can do. I know most people here hate the Big Show, but being fair and honest, he's still the biggest dude on the roster and he isn't called "The World's Largest Athlete" for no reason. Reigns fucking him up would make him look like a beast heading into Wrestlemania.
no, they've done the Big Show and Roman feud long enough and it's sour....I get that they've built it up for a while now....but we all already know that Roman can beat him down and has proven that....I feel that Big Show and Kane need to step aside a little...and let Rollins and Sheamus do some work.

Why not save those feuds for after Reigns becomes champion? Fast Lane is a throwaway PPV anyway.

You really think they're going to let Sheamus feud for the WWE World title against Reigns after he wins? I don't think so...maybe, but not likely.

I feel that him having a couple or few matches with Sheamus before Mania would be fun. And I don't think it's pointless....as it shows Romans strength before Mania.

Big Show feud is worn...and will show strengths we already know he has.

I like Heyman but I don't keep him on a pedestal. I hated his work with Ryback and Curtis Axel. But when needed, he can be brilliant. His interview with Lesnar and Reigns wasn't gold, it was platinum. I myself was dubious whether I could feel anything for the match but I can after the interview.

However It wasn't all Heyman. I liked how Lesnar actually played foil somewhat to Heyman. He actually made Heyman look reasonable by comparison. He didn't just dimiss Heyman's comments about the Anoa'i family, he outright rejected them.

And Reigns was solid in the interview as well. Honestly the best talking he has done. The whole segment was just done perfectly, which leads me to believe it wasn't Vince's idea. But regardless it was good work.

Only thing bugged me in hindsight is that, during the interview, Reigns didn't look like somebody that was happy he had just won the Royal Rumble.
Sure, Lesnar is on his plate, but couldn't he have seemed more jovial given what he's gone through the past 5 months.
I suppose most would be b*tching if he'd been jovial during the interview, but he just won the Royal Rumble...did he not?

He seemed to composed for my liking considering this is his first go. More energy or enthusiasm would be great. Heyman hyped Reigns family and Reigns was still so.... meh.
Even for a first interview, a Royal Rumble winner ought to be more excited about Main Eventing Wrestlemania in his first singles match ever at the event.

Ehhhh maybe. I still prefer the reigns that we saw in the interview. He seemed excited enough in his own interview the same night. And the composed, controlled, and simple reigns feels more badass.

What he did Monday was tell a story neither competitors were capable of doing . GOAT manager, most of his promos are good. Him on commentary for 2 to 3 hrs gets annoying. Other than that, amazing.

He had just sat down for an interview with Michael Cole alongside Lesnar and then Heyman (the manager of his opposition)took the interview over... he was emoting exactly as he was supposed to. He did almost crack a prideful smile while Heyman was talking about seeing his cousins, The Usos, as kids and seeing Roman as a kid.. but he pulled that smile back because he was in a serious situation. As edge4ever said, in his solo interview earlier that night he was smiling and happy. So, in my opinion, he was acting exactly as he should have when face to face with Lesnar and Heyman.

I also thought his demeanor was on point. I can assure you this, if he was smiley and laughing through this promo he would have been GRILLED for it by most lol. We already get enough shitty Cena comparisons

Anyhow, these interview segments were brilliant, and have HHH's fingerprints all over them. With DB and Reigns especially having the almost kayfabe breaking shoot element but while keeping it kayfabe is great. This is what we need from pro wrestling in 2015. HHH knows his audience and he knows it well.

I was thinking the same thing about HHH. Reigns' attitude was perfect, much unlike Batista's "I don't give a shit if I'm booed" and "the yes movement is the stupidest thing I've ever scene" interviews after he won the Rumble.

On Raw, there wasn't any "I won so you have to deal with it" speeches. Daniel Bryan acknowledged that acknowledged his victory last year, reminding people how he attained his victorious moment while reminding the pissed off fans that he never list the title and hence will likely get a run at it in the future.

And the final interview didn't waste time addressing the pissed off fans. It focused on Roman, Brock and Paul exactly the way it should. It reminded people that Paul definitely has a history with Reigns and Lesnar has a history with his family.

Vince never would have done that. He would have had Reigns be like "Forget about Daniel Bryan! ! He lost! I won!" Which although is true, it would have kept the focus off the actual title match. Instead they brought it around to where it meeded to be.

It's funny because Vince believes he has this built in sense for the wrestling business. I think that belief alienates hom from his audience. HHH on the other hand was a fan who became a wrestler, something Vince can never claim. I think that gives HHH a definite advantage in knowing what fans Want to see.

Vince is definitely arrogant about doing as he pleases and really only listens to the audience when his hand is forced. HHH understands the wrestling business 100 X better. It really couldn't be any simpler, you are getting on the spot feedback from your fans every night. If only other forms of entertainment had it so easy?

Dolph man you are an asshole but you have been on fire recently with these posts. I almost feel as if Vince is told months overdue that a wrestler is over. He is so bad at handling momentum, ask Ryback, Punk, Miz, all three of those guys had shitty writing and awful plot twists instead of doing the right thing. Miz being put in a feud against Jerry Lawler? Ryback not winning the title at HIAC, Punk losing to Triple H and bringing in two distractions like Nash and ADR.

I think this interview was needed to make this feud actually interesting to others.
Paul did great as usual and Roman did pretty well as well. Only issue is, how do you keep up on this pace for two months for his match. It can't always be interview, interview, interview. I guess taking out The Usos might be an option or bringing back someone like Rikishi.
