Former UFC champion Pat Miletich is pondering a run at a U.S. Senate seat from the state of Iowa. Miletich posted on Twitter that "Bruce Braley cannot win that seat" after reports of his running were made known through a report.
Miletich told the Quad City Times that he would run as either a republican or independent. Tom Harkin, a long-time senator from the state, will be vacating the spot.
Miletich, 47 years old, went 29-7-2 in his MMA career. He has worked most recently as an analyst for Strikeforce and several promotions airing on AXS TV.
