Co-sign like the little smurf I am!

I didn't even know this was "real" until I heard people talking after the movie. The ending was funny tbh. The first time watching it I died laughing, the second time around, it got me a few times. It wasn't a COMPLETE waste of my money, and at the end of the day, this shit was a lot better than Halloween II.

Also, I know this is off topic and all, but who watched the Stepfather?

I seen the movie today. It wasn't the scariest movie ever, but it was good. Especially for it being a low budget movie. The beginning was too fucking long and boring. It was like 45 minutes of nothing but them talking. Then when they pulled the camera out and started recording their 1st night, i was sitting their studying the screen, but nothing happened. Then it's another 10minutes of talking, then there's the next night. The fucking door moves twice. Then another 5 minutes of talking. After that it got good, but it took way too long for it to get to that point.

The guy in the movie was funny though. His girl is screaming and he stops to pick up the camera. Then he's getting pissed off and cussing out the demon, cause it's not doing enough for him, lol.

I went with my girl, she kept grabbing my hand and shaking and stuff. But she don't watch alot of movies like that. They scare her real easily. There were a few scenes where I jumped, but the end really got me when she threw her bf at the camera. And then went demon on the camera.

Just going to make sure but if you were dating a bitch and she was haunted by a demon, tell me I'm not the only one who would have left her ass.

Hell yeah, I would. I'da been pissed when she said that she's been haunted since she was little and yet the guy new nothing about it. I woulda went off on her. But he seemed to enjoy it and wanted to get a ruse out of it.... until he got scared shit less.

If your refering to me, I know its not real. The chick is an actress. She was in another movie in 07. Even though it's not real, it was one of those 1st person shot movies that actually seems real.

The secret to mockumentaries like this and the Blair Witch Project is that you have to suspend disbelief. You have to allow yourself to consider the remote possibility that this could be happening to someone.

If you sit there throughout the entire movie poking holes in the plot or shaking your head in shame at the obviously scripted moments and tacky special effects like your some highly paid movie critic with a stick stuck up his ass, of course you're not going to enjoy this movie.

It's different strokes for different folks but honestly, this movie freaked me out hardcore status. I've been having trouble sleeping because I can suspend disbelief (and the fact that I sincerely believe in shit like demons, ghosts and what have you). So it was definitely worth my money.

I seen the one where the girl was got up went down stairs and screamed. And then the guy went down there. Then there was a pause in sound, you hear big stomping noises get louder and louder, then the bf gets thrown at the camera. The girl walks in the room, sniffs the guy then goes demon on the camera.

I'm glad they showed that ending and not the other one I heard about. The other one sounded real dumb.

Just saw it tonight. It was fine, and entertaining, but I did not find it nearly as scary as everyone has been saying. It had some really tense moments once the movie got going, but there wasn't anything that's going to keep me from sleeping.

Not the one I heard, there were 2 and one of them was she was gunna walk up covered in blood with a knife, and then slit her own throat right in front of the camera, that would have been a crazy ending.

Yeah, that ending would have been alright. The one they showed in theaters was better though. The original ending was this.....

The original ending, as attached to the video sent to potential distributors, has Katie returning to the bedroom, after the struggle heard downstairs, wielding a knife and having blood on her tank top. She sits next to the bed and rocks back and forth throughout the remainder of the following day. Her friend Amber arrives the next night and flees the house upon discovering Micah's body downstairs. When two police officers arrive, Katie comes out of her catatonic state and approaches them. The officers instruct her to drop the knife, but shoot her after the demon slams a door behind them, startling them. The film ends with the officers discovering the running camera. A frame from this ending has emerged online

The end of a horror movie is usually the make or break of the movie, I'da been pissed if I seen that ending. The one they actually showed in theaters had the surprise scare factor to it... twice actually. The one where she slits her throat would take the cool look though.
