Anybody hear about this movie? It's low budget but folks are saying it's good. It's not a world wide release though, but there's a petition online to get it in theaters world wide.

It looks aright for a low budget movie. But with people comparing it to The Blair Witch project, it makes me not to see it. The Blair witch Project sucked major ass. And I should have been afraid of it since it was based on a true story and happened in my state. Is Paranormal Activity playing in any theater near you guys? Anybody seen it?

I haven't seen this yet, but I want to. I have never seen Blair Witch Project in it's entirety, only parts of it. I don't think this will be anything like BWP though, I think it'll shit all over that movie.

Don't think it's coming out in Aus though, dammit! Oh well, give it a couple of weeks and I'll just dl the damn thing, heh.

I saw it at Midnight... it came to my theater in Chicago cause we got 142,928 demanding votes for it to come there...

OMG! IT IS SCARY AS FUCK! One of the scariest movies possibly ever made, and I'm not exxagerating.... I've never heard a full theater scream any louder, men and women alike... it was CRAZY! GO SEE IT!

Man, I hope you're not BS'ing. It's not playing here, but if I find that it's playing somewhere close, I'll travel to see it, just to see what all the hype is.

Well, I'm not going to drive to Columbus for a movie, but if they bring it to Cincinnati I'll go see it. Looks pretty good. I think they're going more for Cloverfield than Blair Witch.

Guys, watch Asian movies. Asians make damn good horror shows. Ju-on from Korea is scary, as is Phobia, Shutter and Alone. There's more but I can't remember the names now. From what I've seen in the trailer, it doesn't seem that scary.

I'm not BSing bro... I couldn't sleep either close to the side of the bed, or with my legs over the edge anymore... and it takes me forever to fall asleep

Even though I haven't seen it yet (but Goddamn is my interested completely piqued) from what I've seen and heard about it I do like that they went for more of a chiller approach to horror. So many American horror movies nowadays go for the cheap loud noise effect which causes a momentary jump but doesn't stay with you. Obviously the dude who made this was a fan of hitchcock's style.

When I can watch asian horror movies without having to read subtitles, then ok. I.E., I don't give a crap if it's the scariest movie ever created, if I can't understand a word the character is saying, I'm not going to pay attention to the plot.

Same reason I don't buy the hype of the crappy french foreign films that win the oscars all the time.

Really doesn't matter. I don't understand Korean, Thai or Japanese but they create the scariest shit I've ever seen

From what I heard it's like one giant tense moment, and you're always expecting something to happen but it never does.

Are you fucking serious? This was a waste of time. Going into the movie it was obvious it really didn't happen. It was so boring until the end and even that wasn't done right in my opinion. The demon is invisible... yet when he walks on baby powder theres footprints? It's invisible. And it's a fucking demon, I think a demon could cover it's tracks. Sorry but none of this movie was believable. The acting by the couple was good but the acting from the therapist or whatever he was, wasn't too good. Everything was so obvious. They spent $15,000 to make the movie and made millions off of it, hats off to them for this ENTERTAINMENT and scripted mockumentary. It is a success and people are stupid enough to buy into the idiocracy. The ending was bad in my opinion. The special effects were great. But people actually saying this is scary is like saying the Blair Witch was scary.

How was this movie scary?! Honestly please elaborate. I guess it's because I don't believe in demons or spirits haunting people first off. And second... its a movie?
