Paige & Alberto (on-going thread)

I saw this and thought to share it but didn't want to continue to have threads for two wrestlers who may or may never be back in the WWE. So for future posts (at least minor ones) that deal with Alberto or Paige, just plop them in this thread. This is the most recent story of happenings in the new show, Detached From Humanity: Paige & Alberto

Alberto Del Rio was arrested in Austria on Friday, December 30th, according to Austrian news website KRONE and other local media outlets.

Following an indie show in Leoben, Austria, Del Rio and his brother El Hijo del Dos Cara were reportedly involved in a brawl at a local nightclub.

Del Rio was obviously released from police custody as he was visiting RAW in Tampa with girlfriend Paige today but the incident led to Del Rio leaving the country 24 hours later than planned. Paige was not with him in Austria.

After the fight at the club, the man they fought reportedly went to the hospital while Del Rio and his brother were taken to the local police precinct. The two then got into a fist fight with each other while at the precinct, apparently because Del Rio was trying to calm his brother down. Del Rio's brother is reportedly still hospitalized in Austria. It was also noted that police at the precinct had to use ankle shackles to restrain Del Rio after he destroyed the ties that were originally used to restrain his arms. Apparently the brawl between the two brothers left the walls bloody.

It is truly like watching a live action soap opera with these two.

And yes, the two were at RAW tonight (Jan 2) but nothing had come from it.

I just find it all really sad...

Of course I want the two of them to be happy...I just wish
they could have had a future together in the WWE.

The brand split would have given both of them more
opportunities for TV time...especially Del Rio who may
have been inserted back into the World Title picture
on SmackDown.

But...at the end of the day...its their choice...and if
their happy and in love...then I wish them all the best.

It is a shame that they had to act the way they did. Paige isn't the best but she had plenty of people around her to help mold her into a great wrestler. Alberto has talent but his attitude will always hold him back and make it so no one outside of their own group will want to work with him. They are both giving themselves a bad reputation.

And you see at the moment...because they have each other they don't
care about what anyone else thinks...and while I would never wish it on
them...if the relationship does fall apart...Paige could have lost so much
from her actions...I mean she's only 24 years old...and clearly if you've
watched Total Divas like I have...she is somewhat...well...immature.

Like I said...I wish both of them the best...but...I think its sad about how
everything has gone down between them and the WWE.

Well...life goes on...and we need to focus our attention on those who are
currently focusing on doing the best for the company and working hard to
entertain us fans.
