or they could just ya know, announce the return of Orton at a certain Monday Night Raw. Same effect really. Point is, blatantly lying to your fanbase just so you can pull off a storyline is bad news, it didn't work for WCW, and it won't work for WWE.

EVERY wrestling promotion lies to their fan base...they say that it will be something, and then they totally swerve..TNA does it, WWE does it, WCW did it, ECW did it, ROH does it, EVERY WRESTLING PROMOTION does it. It's a part of the business.

Remember when they said Jeff Hardy was in hospital for back and neck trauma, but he refused to be examined? (After the Swanton on Raw)

Anyway, 300 feet? You bounce and crash 300 feet and ONLY break your collarbone? I call BS

I saw these two statements on a very unreliable website. So take it for what its worth.

from my inside sources, Orton is supposed to appear at Summerslam and become the leader of a new 2nd generation faction, creating a stable with DiBiase, Rhodes, and DH Smith (with Natalie Neinhart as Valet). The plan is to attack both participants of the Cena/Batista match; hence, a no contest decision.

I went to Raw last night in Richmond. I got there early to try and meet some wrestlers before the show. So I went out to the area where the wrestlers arrive. I clearly saw Randy Orton conversing with Vince McMahon near some sort of truck, I guess a production truck.
Maybe this will shed some light on the "injury story".

I'm speechless. MS... HELP ME OUT HERE!

Edit:Here's hoping this isn't a "swerve" to surprise people with his return.

If its true, I think Ren and Stimpy put it best when they said; "Happy, Happy, Joy, Joy."

Now I don't necessarily believe it either, but... 30 feet becomes 300 feet really easily with the slip of a finger. Just something to take into consideration.

Also you can question WWE.com's credibility, but you can call any wrestling website's credibility into question, and probably be right.

I have a feeling Orton's going to no sell his injury when he comes back, the post about the Hardy thing reminded me of that.

One thing I will say is I'd be suprised if Vince is prepared to tempt fate lying about stuff like this (if he is) given the injury woes which seem to be repeatedly fuckin' with their plans.

Regardless, even if his injuries are legit, does no-one realise that there's no reason why he cant still appear at Summerslam providing he has 'back-up'... Pricelss & Smith run in and do the damage whilst the visibly injured/bandaged-up Orton just stands on the ramp laughing (for example)...

If he does appear, I mark like fuck.... Can't wait for him to return. As good as Raw has been AT TIMES since the draft, I've missed him BIG time!
