During his match with Triple H at tonight's One Night Stand pay-per-view, Randy Orton took a bad fall after being thrown over the top rope and apparently broke his collarbone in the process. During the broadcast you could hear Orton tell the referee about his injury. The announcers started selling the injury on the broadcast. The match was scheduled to go a bit longer, but they soon went to the finish. Orton remained out on the floor clutching his shoulder while the referee made the ten count. As soon as the match was over, medics quickly stormed ringside to check on Orton.

After the match, Orton was immediately taken into a room backstage to be examined. He was then sent to a local hospital to check out the severity of the injury.

Bummer....

Yeah, you could definitely tell it was a false finish. Trips just randomly took out the hammer and hit him in the head w/ it to end it. And the funny thing is after the match, you could definitely tell he was injured b/c he wasn't even holding his head, he was holding his shoulder.

Not good :n:

- After a visit to San Diego Medical, Randy Orton has been diagnosed with a broken left collarbone.

Man what a bad break for Orton :smh

Hopefully he isn't out too long.

I knew he had hurt his colar bone as soon as I saw him out on the ground, that really sucks for Orton and all of us HHH haters(who cheer for Orton),

If anyone finds out how long he will be out for then post it in, I don't think it will be to long bcause when I broke mine I had it in a sling for about a month if that but Orton has broken his colar bone before so he may be out longer...

Damn that really sucks. Orton is really over atm, so hopefully this doesn't wreck his heat.

Shit, that sucks!

My fave wrestlers are dropping like flies of late!

Ultimately, Orton will be fine though...

Further proof that Orton is the best heel going today...........

As he was leaving and in pain, the crowd started to actually chant RKO and cheer for him. Its obvious they knew he was hurt bad.

What does Orton do.....Tells them to shut the fuck up and turns the cheers into boos in 10 seconds.

Hopefully he comes back soon. Orton/Batista always seems to get sidetracked by injuries.

^^^Was it keeping in character, or simply annoyance. He looked bloody pissed when he was leaving.

You think about it, there's always a chance he was just pissed off - take an injury like that, tha'll put you out for a bit no doubt. Then take the angry side of Orton, we've all heard what he's done before. MAYBE it just rubbed him the wrong way.

However, I wouldn't doubt Orton's staying in character either, I'm just throwing that out there. The injury looked sick, too.

It was a bit of both. Telling the the fans to shut up was simply Orton being in character. Orton getting in a kid's face and having security have to step in between them... That's just Randy being an ass-hole.

^^^Draft in 3 weeks. They can make whoever they like top heel... The timing could be so much worse....

I'm assuming the angles for Vengeance will be pretty thin as otherwise they'll either have to give away the draft early and start building towards the matches now.... I'm expecting a fair few random "they're on the roster and have never faced" kinda matches (So I wouldn't count JBL/HHH out just yet) and for the draft to fully take effect the night after Vengeance.

Wheter you like Randy Orton or not you never wish injuries on any wrestlers. While Orton's going through his recovery I hope this will help him get the rest he sorely needs. He's done a lot to grow over the past year.

It was just a freak accident, I've seen Orton take that bump before but it just didn't go well this time (waiting for the Triple H bashing comments to come along). Good luck and have a speedy recovery :y:

At least there's the potential return of RNN!
