WWE had been planning for The Miz and R-Truth to win the Tag Team Titles from Evan Bourne and Kofi Kingston after the Survivor Series pay-per-view. A combination of Bourne and Truth failing Wellness tests changed those plans and now, as noted before, The Miz is headed back to the WWE Title picture. It's possible Miz may get his shot at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
Not really hard to come to that conclusion that, that was gonna be the plan but personally would rather Air Boom hung on to them. If this was the case though funny both half of the teams fell to the same thing.

I like the idea of The Miz returning to the World title picture, however they had a good thing with Awesome Truth and they have proved a good thing for the tag divison. It seems a bit soon to pull the plug on it.

Damn shame that this didn't happen. Would have been a huge boost to the tag team division having these two teams feud. Hopefully WWE manage to find some good tag teams that aren't filled with idiots that break company policy.

Can't wait to see The Miz in more title matches, he is a great Heel champion.

Best one right after Chris Jericho.

Oh yah definitely, for sure. Jericho was a great champion and I hope he gets his ass back in that ring and become champ as soon as possible! :)

never cared for the miz, so i'm not to happy to hear this. But as long as he does not win the title i don't care what he does.

A Miz/Punk feud in the meantime before Mania would be pretty sweet. First gotta see more of Del Rio/Punk, though.
