Okay can we just talk about Natalya for a second..

I am not by any means saying Natalya isn't a good wrestler because I'm sure she has been doing this for even before she came to WWE, but I am so confused on why she keeps getting more TV time? She lacks charisma in opinion and I can look back at a match from when she debuted and it seems like every match she's in is practically the same old same old. Again not saying she isn't good but there is allot more talent that can get that TV time. Does anyone agree or is it just me...

She is playing proxy for Ronda in this Alexa/Ronda feud. Because Ronda can appear but the WWE doesn't want to have her compete in random RAW matches as they want her to only big a big attraction superstar. That's the only reason she is getting so much screen time at the moment.

Natalya is older now so it wouldn't surprise me if they are keeping her in a main storyline as she will be retiring soon.
She is going to be 37 in May so I am guessing she retires in 2019 or early 2020. I think she deserves one last solid run on her own though before she retires.

I honestly can't remember a good Natalya match outside of NXT. She always just comes across slow and book-smart to me. Like all the years of not getting practice in 2 minute matches got to her.

she came into WWE during a time where women didn't know much about wrestling and were mostly educated on character work because their matches wouldn't be long enough to showcase it anyways. So back then she stuck out for not looking too awkward in a ring next to the Kelly Kellys, Bella Twins, etc, which I always appreciated about her. And imo she should have been a bigger deal during that time, yes she won the Divas title in 2010 but that was so short lived, I'm pretty sure nobody here remembers it all that well.
Nowadays tho, despite still not having a perfect line up of women on the roster, the division is far more advanced when it comes to in-ring work, and people like her who relied on just being a good wrestler for so long get left behind because of that.

As far as her character goes, as a face she's basically just a smiling billboard without much to it and as a heel she never really developed a real gimmick, she just kinda said typical heel shit.
Which brings me to her biggest flaw and the reason why she is where she is, she doesn't change. Her looks never changed, her moveset never changed, her character of "being a Hart" never changed and therefor her status with the crowd never changed. And even though she once told people that, despite her family, it took a long time for her to actually get signed by WWE, her family's name definitely helps her stick around for as long as she does now

Natalya is one of the best female in-ring workers I've ever seen.

Because she's friends with Ronda...and sometimes
its not what you want...but what your famous friend
wants.

Yeah...but I think that's the WWE's fault more than her own.

She's been given some terrible booking/gimmicks over the
years...and from what I've seen...nothing has really worked.

A couple of years ago they started doing this "quoting song lyrics"
thing that was actually really funny...especially with Alexa Bliss
reacting to it...but they stopped doing it before it really started.

Personally...Nattie is one of those wrestlers who should be booked
silent. By that I mean that she should only be allowed to "speak"
through her actions...not promos or interviews.

I actually had an idea that the WWE should have her suffer a (kayfabe)
throat/mouth injury (From a Carmella superkick) so she starts wearing a
mask to cover the lower half of her face & her neck...allowing her to emote
strictly through her eyes & body language.

Maybe have her become slightly unhinged because of this...perhaps allow
her to become more aggressive in the ring? Perhaps have her put people
in the sharpshooter & not release them...even after winning her matches?
Have her chase the title again...but silently, ruthlessly...maybe have her
eventually break down once she actually wins the title? Maybe have Tyson
Kidd involved?

Just No.

She's extremely overrated & has been terribly overbooked
scoring clean wins over multiple women more skilled & more
physically impressive than she will ever be.

She's a blight on the entire division & none of her opponents
ever benefit from sharing the ring with her.

Only Alexa benefits from her being in the ring...and that's
because nearly everyone has been booked to lay down
for her.

She may have mic skills & a cute ass...but that's all she has.

She can't wrestle, she can't sell, she can't do anything but
talk...and she's nothing but a terrible joke that isn't funny.

Say what you want about Roman Reigns (& I've said a lot) the
guy can work a great match & he actually looks the part.

Alexa Bliss is nothing but a Diva...and she is AWFUL.

In ring ability is the last thing that matters in WWE, even to this day it's not very important, Carmella is a perfect example of that.

I mean Sasha ended up putting Alexa over
