I know this was basically what Vince was trying to do by bringing ECW back, and he has basically done it; taken the whole legacy of ECW, and shit on it right in front of Paul Heyman's face. Right in front of everyone's face. You want to know why ECW is never at the Hammerstein anymore? Because Vince McMahon is scared SHITLESS to go up there now. He has killed ECW, and anyone with eyes who actually watched ECW back in the early nineties up until it's end around 2001 knows that is the main reason he brought ECW back.

This shit is what kids call ECW? It's WWECW. Plain out enough said.

Vince lost a lot of respect from me by doing what he did. He brings Viscera, The Boogieman and THE MIZ of all people onto the show. Now why are you bringing three jokes over to ECW, whenever you should be trying to build that part of your organization up? Duh! He wants to make ECW look like a joke to all the little kids. He wants to make kids, and young women think that guys like CM Punk and Bobby Lashley MADE ECW. And these ECW Orignials GETTING BOOED a few weeks back on an ECW Program OVER BOBBY LASHLEY!? If we were sitting up in Philly on a nite in 95 and this was an ECW event Bobby Lashley would have been wrapped up in Barbwire being thrown 20 feet off an audio set into a flaming table with thousands of fans standing over him beating the living shit out of him.

If Vince McMahon went into ECW Territory, the real ECW Territory, then he WOULD BE DEAD.

Plain and Simple.

Vince should have just left ECW to rest. Never have brought it back. He wanted everyone to think that he was reincarnating ECW with ONS 2, which was a hell of a PPV, which really defined hardcore in extents. When he brought it back, he threw out the Hardcore Rules n he basically jobbed Justin Credible, Mahoney, Roadkill, Nunzio, and all of the wrestlers that used to fight in ECW.

So thank you Vince, you really fuckin proved your point...

Monty Brown. That is the ONLY reason I watch ECW for. CM Punk has turned into nothing but a BABYFACE. Once your that caliber I just lose respect for that.

A WCW would be way more Original oriented than ECW, most of ECW originals were rejects and could never make it in the WWE with the exception of RVD. WCW originals would be people that had already been on top of the WWE guys like Booker T, Mysterio, Benoit, and Jericho. WCW and ECW are 2 completely different stories.

If you think that ECW was made up of only Sandman, Mahoney, Dreamer, Sabu, RVD then you're wrong. There were a lot of wrestlers there that had good skill at wrestling. And plus, the hardcore style brought a new style to the ring, and excited the fans more than just guys doing headlocks, and submissions. I mean ECW can't be ECW with just the 5 main originals that they had. Thats like rule number 1.

And the "Clean" rules they do just plain out fucked up ECW for good.

Vince's owns the rights to the ECW name and he can do what ever he wants with it you can talk and talk. The reason he did it was because he wanted a third show since Heat and Velocity folded he thought that since he used a show with the ECW name it already has credibility. If you don't like it like others have said don't watch it I watch it becaus eI love wrestling I've watch the old ECW, WCW, all wrestling. If you want to watch hardcore wrestling watch CZW.

I do watch it. There are like 1 or two wrestlers I enjoy watching, and am a big fan of. But you don't go and use the name ECW and do that to the fed. That is how cold blooded Vince is. I mean he has no respect whatsoever for anything that rivaled him. The fork was already stuck in ECW, and it should have been over.

ECW is not still dead. It is alive and it is shit. Smarks can complain and pine away because the good old days are over. But Vince McMahon bought the rights to ECW and what you are seeing on your television IS ECW. I'm not saying its right and I'm not saying it is wrong. But Vince, using perfectly valid strategy has gotten us to watch his developmental fed by reviving ECW and televising it.

Honestly, I stopped watching ECW, It's terrible. But the fact of the matter is that the majority of wrestling fans are watching it. Because whether we like it or not, Wrestling isn't the same as it was during the nineties. WWE's target audience is the 12-16 age group. There is more money in marketing to kids than there is marketing to the smart wrestling fan. That's why WWE is running circles around TNA. Because WRESTLING IS FOR CHILDREN. Wrestling will never be as great as it was until the WWE realise that there is more money to be made by making a show that adults will enjoy. But they'll never realise that until it's actually true.

For one, i'm not a jackass who doesn't know shit about the old ECW. i get what you're trying to say, and i don't exactly like the new ECW more than the old ECW, but lets face reality that the old ECW is DEAD!!! I think Vince has enough money to buy out TNA right now if he'd like to, he could have done it a long time ago. He can't just buy them out like that. WCW sold to WWE because they were going down the shitter in 2001. It was quite obvious, and everyone was walkin out on them.
