I agree that WWE handled his run there badly, but I also agree that Goldberg stopped being relivent ages ago and is now just bitter and washed up. Time to move on.

Tapout you say some of the dumbest shit.

What world do you live in where a jobber off nXt is more exciting than a Goldberg return. Dog on him being a big guy all you want but he was the must see guy in wrestling in the late 90's.

In the 90's. And in WCW. A company full of jokes. He was barely even in the WWE long enough to be considered a WWE star. Any person on NXT would be better to see then him back.

I say some of the dumbest shit, but it seems like everyone else in this thread has the same idea. Goldberg is an overrated Diva.

Goldberg should take a good look at how Brock Lesnar conducts his business. Whether you hate or love Brock, he knows how to make $$ without letting his pride or ego get in the way of a moment. Brock comes back and gets paid a huge salary for a few select dates and and jobs, he doesnt always win, hell he lost his first match back, but he got paid $$$$$ for it. And people LOVED it. What could Goldberg bring back? Some nostalgia, sure, but other than that, what?

I thought Goldberg was awesome, I thought the character was great, a pinnacle of wrestling during his time, but if he were to come back now and destroy everyone and win all the titles, it would prove how much of a work WWE really is, more so than having a UFC champion come in, go to war and lose to a "fake" athlete like John Cena or Trips right away. Plus he has to be going on like what, 50 now? He may be in great shape, but he has no wrestling sense other than knowing how to beat a guy.

I know some people might disagree with me and comparing him to Brock Lesnar, but Lesnar has the business sense to know how to make the money for himself and the business, Goldberg just wants money for himself. He would probably expect a seven figure salary for two months work. Na uh.

Yes because Goldberg knows so much about running a business. What was the name of his wrestling promotion again? Oh wait...

I was actually shocked when I heard he was in talks with WWE a few years back, but WWE wouldn't give him the kind of money he wanted. So by WWE "not knowing how to do business" he really means "they won't overpay me".

Basically the business is he wins all his matches in 30 seconds.

Use to love this guy growing up but now he's just being a cunt.
