I think we IWC-ers really overthought this thing (not that HHH and his minions didn't help us do that, but still).
I expect far more fallout tomorrow night. Tonight was about crowning an undisputed champion. Tomorrow night will be about what happens going into the Rumble, where we'll no doubt see some kind of rematch between Cena and Orton. I have a sneaking suspicion that their feud over the WWE World Heavyweight Championship (I thought that was what they already called the "Big Gold Belt") is not yet over.

the "big gold belt" is the world title not the wwe title! always have been always will be!

I didn't watch the PPV and haven't looked up any of the other match results yet (except for Punk/Shield, with an ending I called), but I'm glad to see Orton won cleanly. I was questioned in another thread about the belief I held that Orton could actually win the match without any needed assistance, so I'm glad to see it's exactly what happened.
Yes, that's right. Since the "Big Gold Belt" was re-introduced into the WWE, it has been called the WWE World Heavyweight Championship (which differentiates it from the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, NWA World Heavyweight Championship, and ROH World Heavyweight Championship). I know that WWE often likes to pretend there is no pro wrestling outside of the WWE, but they, by necessity, preface the words "World Heavyweight Championship" with "WWE" in most of their press releases and other communications referring to their World Heavyweight Championship.
That's my point. Calling the unified WWE and World Heavyweight Championships by the name "WWE World Heavyweight Championship" just seems a bit disingenuous to me.

dude it was never called the WWE World Heavyweight Championship! It was just called World Heavyweight Championship! and then the wwe title was changed to being just called the WWE Champion! Before the wwe title was alway called the WWE Heavyweight Champion will back then it was WWF Heavyweight Champion but u get what I mean. SO that called it the WWE World Heavyweight Championship to have both title as one.
