-- The September 23 episode of WWE SmackDown scored a 2.3 cable rating, a sharp increase from 1.78 the week before.

SmackDown fell just shy of the 2.31 Syfy record set on February 25, which took place days after Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's return to WWE.

Friday's program outdrew last month's live special, which garnered a 2.2 cable rating. Viewership was identical as both episodes averaged 3.2 million viewers.

Another of Randy's reigns got their ass kicked. Funny because this isn't the normal Triple H, Batista, Cena, or even Miz getting the strap from him and the rating rising. This was Mark Henry, but oh well he did draw on ECW too lol.

Funny part to me is that no matter how pushed he gets Randy still can't draw shit on his own to be considered a 1b to Cena on a full time basis. It really has to suck to know that every reign he has had dating back to the first saw the ratings go down and then back up when Cena, Dave, HHH, Miz, and now Henry took it off him, every reign but the one Christian got that is (which is even funnier)

I love Mark Henry, but if you think people tuned in to see him then you're wrong. People tuned in to see Orton and Rhodes.

Gonna say a new champ and the blood bath helped here since it was at least something semi different from what Smackdown has been which has been a average show of the same shit week after week.

The 10/21 edition of Smackdown did a 2.21 rating with 3,112,000 viewers.

Henry continues to draw on Smackdown. To follow up on what was posted above a month ago fans definitely do tune in to see Henry as champion just look at his ECW title reign. When he was ECW champions ratings were up and now that he is World champion on Smackdown ratings are up by a lot. Orton simply isn't the draw that WWE think he is because ratings were week with him as champion.

I am hoping that for the live Smackdown later next month that Smackdown can pull a 2.5 rating. If WWE book The Rock and Foley onto the show then that will go a long way to helping boost the rating the extra few points.

The 10/25 edition of Raw did 3.3 rating with 4,714,000 viewers. The show did hours of 3.53 and 3.11.

Overall it is a slight increase but again the rating dropped from hour one to two which is a really bad sign. You want more people tuning in as the show goes on. It shows that people are interested in tuning in to start the show but just don't like what they are seeing.
