The Miz vs. Dolph Ziggler
Before the match they both guys had an AWESOME in-ring promo with each other then they had this great match, I’m officially on the Miz wagon now, he looked fucking great here. I love these main event matches, they let guys go out with out handcuffs and go 20+ minutes to test them for the future. It allows the superstars to get a good story in the ring and can showcase what they can do. Good wrestlers can work a thirty minute match and grasp pace, in-ring storytelling, and psychology. That will help them for the future if they do get that spotlight in the Main event. *** - ***1/4 Credit who ever came up with this.

Justin Gabriel vs. Wade Barrett
This was basically a squash, which everyone knew it was gonna be so the crowd basically didn't give a FUCK!. Wade offense it still terrible and it's like he doesn't even watch his matches back to see what's working and what doesn't. Justin got some offense in and attempted to get things interested but didn't work. *

They ended the show with highlights of Raw with AJ/Dolph/Cena stuff, Damien Sandow comes onto the stage and says that Cena is a disease that must be purged from the WWE. He, on this day the twenty-first day of the eleventh month in 2012, he declares Cena the ultimate false idol. You’re welcome. (So I guess me know who's gonna job to Cena next week on ME) So overall I say you watch the Dolph/Miz stuff and turn off the rest.

Good thread. I really enjoyed the Miz/Dolph stuff this week, promo was great and the match was even better. Skipped the other one though.

One thing I don't care for is that the "main event" of the show is always what opens it and then they have some jobber match that last like 4 minutes close the show.

You are on the Miz bandwagon?!?! Never thought I see the day. That before match highlight reel promo was so awesome, couldn't agree more. Match was great as well, really refreshing and its good to see Dolph get big wins while Miz looks good.

The rest is just bland and that's coming from a Barrett supporter.

I actually haven't watched an episode of Main Event yet, but from the looks of things it looks like a consistently good show. It looks like Superstars with more effort put into it.

I like this show quite a bit for the first reason mentioned. They usually give the opener, which is always the advertised match, a good amount of time and it usually results in a very good bout. The last match is usually kind of rushed and pointless though.

John Cena vs. Damien Sandow
This may have been Sandow’s longest television (or PPV) match to date, need looked really good for the first 15 minutes but for the last 5 he looked pretty lost, like he didn't have enough moves to do until the Cena comeback. I do like the Raw match he had with Sheamus more but this was still a good match. I was pretty obviously Cena was gonna win but at least Sandow was made to look pretty good in the loss. They commentators mention the quick tapout was the better part of valor and a wise move rather than shortening his career. "Live to fight another day". As JBL says. ***

Zack Ryder vs. Antonio Cesaro
This was all squash for 8 minutes and it was quite good, basically a "get your shit in" mach for Cesaro. Nice that Cesaro is finally given that chance to show how AWESOME he is in the ring and i gotta give thanks to Sheamus for giving him his breakout match. **3/4

Post Match: Antonio Cesaro He calls Zack Ryder everything wrong with America. Fist-pumping, hair spiking, self-tanning, Internet darling that can’t cut it in the real world. He rambles on about America and that he is the greatest champion in WWE; this draws Kofi Kingston out onto the stage and challenges him to a champion versus champion match next week on Main Event. :mark:

Non-Title: Kofi Kingston vs. Antonio Cesaro
Both Truth and Wade are on commentary in their ring gear. :hm:. This was fun but could of been a million times better. I guess they were pacing them selves and didn't want get gassed. The ending saw Barrett runs in, Truth follows, and we get a bell for the DQ. Post-match, Truth asks for the tag match that we would have had on Raw. He checks with Kofi if that is good gets the :y. The fans want to see it. The heels are all for BOOM! that's why they didn't got all out. **1/2

Kofi Kingston & R-Truth vs. Wade Barrett & Antonio Cesaro
This was allot more fun than the opener and more fun than the 4 way that took place on Raw, instead of this if you remember. This had some good intensity because all these guys have been feuding for a month now and the heat segmens were good, aside from when Wade started using "Fight Club" moves. Thank god Cesaro saved him. **3/4

Alberto Del Rio takes on Ryback next week. :adr:

Ryback vs. Alberto Del Rio (w/Ricardo Rodriguez)
We al knew Ryback was gonna win, but i'm surprised at the amount of offense Del Rio got in. It wasn't an awful squash but it wasn't a real good match either. Pretty much a match for Ryback to get all his shit in. *1/2 Ricardo's pre-match promo and Video package was better than the match.

Three-on-Two handicap match: Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel
Okay match here. The highflyers made the match fun and 3MB added the personality. I know that you can’t push everyone all at once but I’m surprised that WWE doesn't use Kidd and Gabriel more. Their in-ring style could lead them to be this generations The Rockers and Hardy Boyz.

Cody Rhodes vs. KANE, Next Week.

Damn good tag match with Hell No vs Road Scholars, and then another solid tag match with PTP and CoBro

tribute to the troops is also entertaining

This thun become the Clay Show. First last week he tried out his sidekick Albert. Tis week he got two new hoes in Aksana and Tamina trying to replace his girls.

Jbl is also great on commentary tonight, selling Miz injuries from Brock. I also liked Cody's lil segment and the ever growing dissent between Hell No.

really like Main Event. Probably the best hour of wrestling on TV period.

naomi also showed more in one match than the divas division in the past calendar year
