THQ didn't scrap the match until after Smackdown vs Raw 2008, 2-years after Eddie died.

Nah, the first game it wasn't in was SVR '09 where it was basically replaced with the Inferno match. Also, it wasn't a few months or anything, the game was released within days of Eddie's death.

Yeah, I edited my post but it was suppose to say "after" Smackdown vs Raw 2008.

I've been playing 2008 the last couple of days and it really makes me appreciative of what they do with announcing. By God, it's annoying in 2008. The first move of the match and JR yells "That could be it!".

I know the announcing gets annoying, but I'm still appreciative of the better it's gotten since early on. I mean they actually say whose coming in to the rumble or chamber when they do or say who got eliminated when they are eliminated. I like that, I just hope they fixed up the talking. Cause last year it worked fine, but after that supposed Patch it messed up the announcing because whenever Cole said something like "What do you think X has to do to get back into this one" King didn't answer. So I hope that was fixed, and that the custom music glitch was fixed.

Does anybody know if match highlights are available for xbox 360 this year?

Still looking for the answer to this question I hated how there was no match highlights for Xbox.

Would you want to advertise for people for free? I mean WWE probably isn't getting money from Jimmy Johns it probably all goes to Brock.


Also Cactus Jack doesn't look right to me.

The more we play games, the more the announcing is going to get annoying no matter what. I mean, look at Madden. It was great to start because you're hearing all kinds of new stuff, but than after playing for months, it just gets old. That's why I've started to turn the announcing off and all the sound effects up to make you feel more engulfed on the field.

That's what I think I may do and see how I like it on SVR 2008 because of how stupid the announcers sound saying the match is over after a closeline to open the match. I obviously can't talk about WWE 13 in that aspect, but I expect it to be even better than 12, which was good.
