Jim Ross stated the following on his official blog:

“Thoughts on WWE13 from THQ? It’s the best script yet plus King and I got to sit side by side and do some enhanced ad libs for the Attitude Era portion of the video game. Pre orders are rocking and the game goes on sale in October. I’ll be doing some THQ promotion during Summerslam weekend which does NOT mean I’m broadcasting Summerslam.”

Good to know. The commentary on previous games can get so repetitive and random at times.

Ken Shamrock was revealed today by PWinsider as a playable character in the upcoming WWE '13 video game due out on PS3 and XBOX 360 later this year. He joins a temendous roster of modern day WWE superstars and special guest legends including boxing great Mike Tyson. It will be flashback fun for wrestling fans to see Shamrock belly-to-belly suplex anyone who steps into his zone when the game is available.

Though his sports career started in Pro Wrestling, Shamrock came to fame in the mid-90's as a star in the underground days of the Ultimate Fighting Championships where he won the MMA promotion's Heavyweight title. Before the UFC was a mainstream powerhouse, Shamrock's main event fights with the Dan "the Beast" Severn and Royce Gracie kept the then-growing sport of MMA exciting in the United States.

In 1997, Shamrock returned to Pro Wrestling in WWE during the Attitude era boom peroid where he captured the Intercontinental Championship. During this period, Shamrock had memorable feuds with several superstars including the Rock, Shawn Michaels, and Chris Jericho . "The World's Most Dangerous Man" returned to MMA but would never be the same fighter he was at his peak. Shamrock would have high-profile series of fights with Tito Ortiz but would never gain back the success of his previous UFC run.

Also, OMR posted a video here of a 20 minute Q&A video with Cory Ledesma.

The first five seconds of the video is very interesting because you can clearly hear the crowd chanting “Angle Sucks”.

It’s interesting to note about this because Kurt Angle mentioned a few weeks ago he was in WWE ’13 on twitter. He then stated that he’s unsure if he’s in the game or not just a day later. He then posted an update on this and said: “I don’t Know if I’m in Wwe13.somebody Claims that I am. That’s All I Know!”

He also posted on twitter recently the following: “@ChasSmith_DB: @RealKurtAngle Are you going to be in #WWE13? Yessssd”

No Ryback, Bourne, Kidd, Reks, or Hawkins makes me a little sad. Still hope Angle makes it in later too. Last year then didn't announce Brock until after the roster reveal so they could do that this year. I expect to see DLC with at least Ryback, PTP's, Kidd, and Antonio Cesaro.

Nice to see Sandow in the game. No need for 3 Trips though...

I have no problems with the current list. If people want undercard guys or jobbers to go along with this Attitude fueled game, just make your own CAWs or just wait for your favorite curtain jerkers to hit the internet CAW list.

Also as far as Triple H goes, he can have as many incarnations of himself that he wants in the game.

They didn't announce Brock, but they did say that there was still a mystery superstar yet to be announced at the roster reveal, which later turned out to be him, so I doubt we see any of this. Barring DLC, I think this is the full roster. I'm fine with 3 Trips, though I don't think we needed The Blueblood in this game, should be fun as hell playing as him though lol.

I don't play online. So I'll just hope that some get released for DLC. Ryback is the main one. I was almost sure he'd be in the game. If Sandow made it, then Ryback should have made it as well.

I was talking about last year. Tapout mentioned that they didn't announce Brock with the rest of the roster last year, and I agreed with him, but said they also announced a mystery superstar that ended up being Brock.
