I will probably be watching the PPV at 9 on stream. I never order UFC PPV's, they are pretty pricey even for the not-so-stellar cards.

Parts Known
- Marcus Davis vs. Dan Hardy - If this goes the distance there will be some long medical suspensions for both men - my pick is *Marcus Davis* although Hardy could take it.

Spencer Fisher vs. Caol Uno - The MMA legend vs. the hungry lion, both need the win, Fisher needs the win so he can move up to earn a Title shot and Uno needs the win to stay in the UFC - my pick *Fisher* by TKO strikes in the first minute of the second round but I kind of want to see Uno get the submission win.

- Mike Swick vs Ben Saunders - This should be really exciting and very violent fight, I think someone is going to need a wake up call after this one - My pick is *Swick* by Knock Out for biased reasons.

- Cheick Kongo vs. Cain Velasquez is a real interesting match up and I could see this being a huge step forward for either man and if Kongo can pull off the "upset"...? he would be pretty close to a Title shot would he not? This is what Gorilla Monsoon used to call a pick 'em! - my pick, I'll go with *Velasquez* even though I think Kongo has the better training camp and he has the experience advantage, of course Cain is a great wrestler, very hungry and very, very vicious!

- Wanderlei Silva vs. Rich Franklin - Now this is quite the match up and I expect fireworks - my pick is *Rich "Ace" Franklin* by Knock Out or TKO late in the second round or early in the third.

Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipović vs. Mostapha Al-turk - I am really getting behind Crop Cop in this fight, I never liked Al-turk to begin with and if Cro Cop is as good as he says he is I see a Knock Out happening Cro Cop style! - my pick *Mirko Cro Cop* by Knock Out in either the first or the second round!

*Can anyone find a really good stream?*

Damn. Disappointed I didn't get to see it. I was hoping there'd be streams at 10, but looks like all the streams were on this afternoon. I got a replay stream, but it got taken down. Sucks that Silva lost. Sounds like it was a good fight though. I have to wonder what's next for him.
Too bad Kongo lsot, but sounded liek a good fight. The whoel PPV looks like it was good. Alot of fights went the distance, and sounds like they were close.

Kongo was a dumbfuck tbh. He was owning Cain in the standup and he just never figured out that he MUST not get in the clinch or try to take down an all american wrestler :smh what an idiot.

Cro cop was too slow and I think he wont do well on his future fights. Man he was like a 60 year old trying to play football or something >_> washed up fighter!

Caol Uno vs Fischer fight was like watching two ladies dancing! what was that?? I was hoping for a better outcome from those two tbh.

Davis vs Hardy:probably one of the best fights of the night, excellent striking and ground work, Hardy hit just enough big shots to counter all the takedowns Davis had to get the win, should have been a later fight.

Fisher vs Uno:Very boring fight from a standpoint most of it was against the cage and hardly any good striking. Uno got a mount and had a few good punches and Fisher landed some good kicks. Boring, Uno should have gotten the decisions do to all the takedowns, Fisher got a bullshit win.

Saunders vs Swick:Swick took him down early, and ground and pounded effectively. Saunders seemed overwhelmed and way over confident. He was talking about fighting Anderson Silva. Swick got the TKO and won very dominantly.

Cro Cop vs Al-Turk:Al-Turk is a horrible fucking fighter, he should know better than to run in on Mirko and swing like that, I was very suprised he didnt get leveled trying that. Instead Mirko got an accidental eye poke which any ref should have seen that Turk was covering his eye and stopped, instead Cro Cop simply dropped Turk will a couple punches, one punch to the mouth while Turk was grounded and the fight was called in the first round. Cro Cop sucked, Turk sucked. Very boring fight to watch.

Kongo vs Velasquez:Kongo nearly won the fight in the first 10 seconds rocking Cain with two HUGE punches. Somehow Cain was able to shoot in after taking them and simply outwrestle Kongo for the rest of the round while landing some decent ground and pound. The second round was almost the exact same. Kongo landed some big punches early but got taken down by Cain again, Cain ground and pounded out Kongo for the rest of the period and tired Cheick out bad. The third round was more ground and pound from Velasquez. Kongo somehow escaped and Cain was very tired from throwing punches. Cheick threw very heavy punches and could not get one to land. Cain took down Kongo again, and wrestled him out for the unanimous decision. good fight. I'm dissapointed in Cheick though, he was just overwhelmed bad.

Silva vs Franklin:Franklin picked apart Silva througout the first round. Tiring Silva out. Silva came back in the second still battling. Franklin hit some decent punches, but Silva hit two HUGE punches on Rich, almost ending the fight. Eventually Silva just ran out of steam but at the end of the 3rd round exploded and hit some good punches and one solid Muay Thai knee. Somehow the fight was a unanimous decision given to Franklin. I believe Silva won the fight on striking alone.

Good PPV, can't wait for 100 and 101.

My thoughts on the PPV.

Hardy vs Davis
This was the second best fight of the night. Back an forth action all the way through. In the end the better man won. Hardy showed alot of respect and after the fight was very humble. On the other hand what davis did shocked me and I lost a lot of respect for him. Hardy landed the elbow that cut him and the knee that dropped him which sealed the deal, he clearly did more damage. Hardy now has won 3 in a row and this loss probably brings him near the top ten. Davis loss brings him down a bit but not so much. Hardy's next match should be against Martin Kampman and davis should get the loser of Fitch/Thiago.

Spencer Fisher vs Caol Uno
Boring fucking fight. I don't know if were gonna see caol back in the UFC after this. He is too small for the LW division and TBH he would do better in the WEC. Fisher has won 4 of his last 5 and deserves a bigger fight. Next fight for fisher should be against Tyson Griffin.

Mike Swick vs Ben Saunders
Saunders let the hype train get to his head. He looked horrible last night. Swick on the other hand fought amazing. That was an awesome KO and I'm sure he's happy with his performance. He's now 9-1 in the UFC and he called out GSP/Matt Hughes and quite frankly he deserves to fight with the top guys so his next fight definitely should be a number one contenders match against the winner of Fitch/Thiago. Saunders needs to rebound and a win against Yoshiyuki Yoshida would be nice.

Al Turk vs Cro Cop
Man i was excited to see Cro cop back but he didn't look that great. I don't think he threw one leg kick and unfortunately won off an eye poke. I think he was going to win it anyways but it taints his victory. Cro Cop is gone from the UFC and Al turk is contesting the fight, should he win he'll probably get fed to a different opponent.

Kongo vs Velasquez
Kongo was exposed on the ground and Velasquez was exposed on his feet. Kongo showed alot of heart as he didn't get stopped but he needs to go back to the drawing board. Velasquez wasn't very impressive though as he had almost 3 rounds to finish him. Velasquez should fight Gonzaga if he wins at UFC 102 this would be a huge test for him because Gonzaga does have Jiu Jitsu and would be able to Sub him off his back. Kongo's next fight should be against the loser of Couture/Nog

Franklin vs Silva
Fight of the night IMO. Both men were warriors and showed so much heart. It was a back and forth fight and i don't understand how 2 of the judges scored it 30-27 it was definitely 29-28 for Franklin. Alot of people are claiming silva got robbed but it could have gone either way. In the end Franklin got the nod. I don't think silva's planning on retiring so his next fight is a MUST win and a fight against wilson gouveia would be good. Franklin is going up to 205 so he needs to prove he belongs so a fight against luis cane would be a good option.

Overall the PPV was decent a few great fights and a few disapointments.

I saw the Kongo/Cain fight, and I was not too impressed with Cain either. I agree with MTG, he had all three rounds to finish the fight and if he is all that he is cracked up to be, he had multiple opportunities to capitalize but really didn't do much damage. Kongo was, well Kongo, not too great on the ground but good standup for the most part.
