Thanks for making this Milly, it slipped my mind at the time.

UFC PPV's overseas don't really thrill me that much. They purposely put decent fights on these cards, but nothing spectacular.

First off, I never really got into Rich Franklin as a fighter, he just never really interested me. He is a decent mixed martial artist, but I just really don't see how he won the fights that he did. I see nothing there. I hope Wandy knocks his head off his shoulders. Wanderlei Silva is one of my favorites, he is the scariest bastard I have ever seen.

Cheick Kongo vs. Cain Velasquez is interesting. If Kongo could get past Mr. Undefeated, he gets the title shot, something that I would love to see happen. I always was a fan of Kongo and often wondered how he never got a title shot. He has an impressive hitlist of stars under his belt. I just hope he can pull through and get the win over Cain.

Cro Cop? Figures...they're overseas lol.

FINAL THOUGHT: Rolando Delgado sucks. He sucked on the Ultimate Fighter and he still sucks now.

Thank you.

Man their are some fights I'm really excited for on this card.

-Davis vs Hardy should be amazing it's really been hyped and i hope davis destroys him.
-Kongo vs Velazquez is interesting seeing as how it's title shot vs Undefeated streak. I like both these guys so I'm a bit torn.
-I hope Franklin wins i really like him at LHW

This should be a pretty good event. It won't be as good as the two that follow though. UFC 100 and 101 are gonna be great.
But I'm pretty excited for Silva vs Franklin. Silva's been in a slump for a long ass time now (1-4 in last 5 fights), so it'll be interesting to see if he can get back on the winning side. I'm predicting a win for Silva.
Velasquez vs Kongo is pretty interesting as well. I see Velasquez winning.
It'll also be interesting to see how Cro Cop does now that he's back in UFC.

This is set to be a great show, with all fights pretty much even at 50/50 or 60/40 if you ask me. Here are some predictions:

Silva Vs Franklin: I gotta say I'm rooting for Silva on this one but this fight could go either way. Both guys need the win after both coming into this from fairly big losses. I see this ending in a brutal KO or with a decision.
Winner: This is difficult to choose but I'm gonna go with Franklin but seriosuly, it could go either way.

Kongo Vs Velasquez: I'm not too sure about this one as I haven't seen much of Cain, but I'm a big fan of Kongo. I can't see this one ending in submission with only one submission out of 19 wins between the two. On the other hand, out of those 19 wins, 15 of them are KO or TKO so this fight doesn't seem likely to go the full length.
Winner: Cain is undefeated for a reason but he hasn't faced anyone like Kongo before and I think Kongo's experience will prove the main factor in this bout and will the W for Kongo.

Marcus Davis Vs Dan Hardy: I wanna root for Hardy 'cause he's English but then he's a bit of a prick at the same time and Marcus Davis is an easy to like type of fighter. But popularity aside, both of these guys will want to knock each other out coming into this fight but I'm not sure whether Hardy is capable of KO'ing Davis.
Winner: Well as I said both of these guys want to knock each other out but you gotta watch out for the submissions too. Both of these guys are no strangers to submissions and I could see Davis submitting Hardy with an armbar and if not, he will just knock Hardy the fuck out plain and simple.

Now Cro Cop should get the win over Al Turk but anything is possible, especially when Cro Cop and UFC are in the same sentence. I'm also hoping Paul Kelly and John Hathaway get wins also, just for bragging rights over you Americans :p

I am predicting a major win for Silva. I just don't think Franklin is as good as he used to be. Silva desperately needs this win.

Honestly I see Kongo/Velasquez coming down to the fact that Kongo has more experience. Velasquez has only fought a few times in the Octagon whereas Kongo's a vet. Expect kongo to win by TKO in the 3rd round.

I don't quite see this with a finish, my money is this goes to decision. As you said, Kongo has more experience, but I am skeptical that he can put Cain away.

I'm 9-6 since i did horribly on ufc 98.

Here are my predictions for UFC 99

Rich Franklin vs Wanderlei Silva:
Both these guys are coming off loses. Franklin at UFC 93 to Dan Henderson and Wanderlei at UFC 92 to Rampage. This is a MUST win for Wanderlei and he has lost 4 of his last five and a loss here will spark up the retirement talks. Franklin needs this win to establish himself in the LHW division. In my opinion Wanderlei's only chance is to use the Clinch game to his advantage. Franklin has shown that the clinch is his weakness when Anderson raped him. Franklins' been training with Anderson so i could see his clinch being much better than before. Franklin is more is a cleaner striker so he has less of a risk getting caught by Wanderlei. Franklins leg kicks will be able to keep Silvas wild strikes away from him. Expect this to be a slugfest.
Rich Franklin TKO 3rd Round

Cheick Kongo vs Cain Velasquez:
Both these guys are on winning streaks. Velasquez is still undefeated and with a win Kongo gets the title shot. This is a classic fight of Striker vs Wrestler. Kongo's last fight was less than two months ago so he hasn't had much time to train. Cain hasn't had many challenges in the UFC so far and Kongo is a huuge step up. Velasquez best shot at winning is getting Kongo on his back (kongo's weakness). Velasquez biggest challenge to date was against Denis Stoijnic who is also a kickboxer. In the end i think Kongo is too good of an opponent for this stage of his career.
Chieck Kongo Unanimous Decision

Mike Swick vs Ben Saunders:
This is gonna be one of the better matches on the main card. Both these guys are coming off wins and their trying to climb the WW ladder and face GSP. Last time i saw Saunders fight he used a dominant clinch game to his advantage, kinda reminded me of Anderson Silva. Swick is a good kickboxer and the guy is 8-1 in the UFC. This should be an awesome fight but i see Saunders reach advantage making the difference.
Ben Saunders TKO 3rd Round

Marcus Davis vs Dan Herdy:
Hardy is coming off a brutal KO at the hands of Rory Markham. And Davis is coming off a FOTN at UFC 93. This in my opinion will be the most exciting fight of the night and definitely has the most hype and bad blood. Davis literally wants to kill Hardy. Hardys too cocky for my liking. This fight will probably stay standing which is a huge advantage for Davis. If Hardy decides to take it to the ground i think he has a better chance of winning. But i doubt he will.
Marcus Davis Unanimous Decision

Spencer Fisher vs Caol Uno:
The last time Uno fought in the UFC was a loss to Hermes Franca in 2003. With another win, Fisher could be in talks for title contention.
Fisher by TKO 3rd Round

Mirko Cro Cop vs Mostapha Al-Turk:
All i gotta say is i feel bad for Al-Turk. His first match in the UFC vs Cheick Kongo and his second against Cro Cop? Either way Al-Turk stands no chance IMO and i see Cro Cops striking being too good for Al-Turk.
Mirko Cro Cop KO(left head kick) 2nd Round

Other Opinions?

I got all over MTG's predictions except Franklin. I have a gut feeling Franklin is slowing down his pace and Wandy will catch him knocking his head right off his shoulders.

Whose watching it live? It's on PPV live at 3, but also repeat at 10 ET, like it usually does.
I'll be watching at 10... Can't be bothered to watch at 3. I'll just avoid seeing the results.
Predictions:

Silva over Franklin by 2nd round KO
Kongo over Valasquez by 3rd round KO (Fight of the Night)
Cro Cop over Al Turk by 2nd round TKO
Swick over Saunders by Decision
Davis over Hardy by Decision
