I don't see Machida staying on top for long. Like I have said before, no Lightheavyweight will turn into the Anderson Silva of their division, I don't care how much they hype/hyped Evans and Machida, I wouldn't call them the greatest fighter in the world. The Lightheavyweight Division is stacked beyond belief, to say Machida will keep that title for months at a time would be a crime. Rampage, Forrest, Rashad, Silva, Franklin, Henderson, and Bisping, just to name a few, atleast one of them will defeat Machida.

SO GLAD MACHIDA WON! Someone had to set Evans straight and show him that he's not the best fighter in the world. Also I hope we stil get to see Evans vs. Rampage cause after all the talk they both did I wanna see if Rampage knocks him out like I wanted him to do in the first place.

Rampage/Evans would be HUGE for MMA/UFC right now... and yeah I agree, Rampage would whoop him easily lol

Yeah, Rampage/Evans would be massive. It would've been bigger if Evans hadn't lost though.

yeah and I hate Machida so I'm really hoping for an Evans/Jackson fight where its all evened out and good to go, ready for an asswhooping

I love Machida for the simple fact he took Evans a guy who was made out to be a beat and let him get in what 4 punches. DAMN!

You are kinda of characterizing Evans as a Kimbo Slice! SHAME ON YOU!

Nothing should be taken away from Evans in this fight, he is still a great fighter, it just comes down to the fact that someone had to lose.

Rashad is really good Lyoto is just a whole other beast the likes Rashad has never faced, I think it may take a guy like Anderson Silva to knock Lyoto off but Rampage could probably do it but he would need a better strategy than "I'm gonna beat his ass!"... and that is if he can even damage Machida.

Who do you think can beat Lyoto and how? and why do people hate Lyoto Machida, because he is dominate and makes pros look like newbies or because he can barely speak English? if you do hate people who can't speak English do you hate people from the deep south as well?

actually I like that guy, he is training with Silva sometimes and Silva stated that he will never fight Machida as he is his buddy.

Anyway, I think Rich Franklin can be a good competitor but I think nobody atm can defeat him and hence that I mentioned before that he will have a long time title reign. As Joe Rogan said, its the Machida Era.
