B.J. Penn's camp has filed a formal complaint with the Nevada State Athletic Commission over Vaseline that was allegedly rubbed on Georges St. Pierre's back between rounds one and two. UFC president Dana White said at the post-fight press conference that he was aware of the complaint, and said he personally witnessed members of the commission take the Vaseline away from GSP's camp and rebuke them in the Octagon between rounds.

Penn you whining fuck being continually punched in the head had nothing
to do with vaseline.

BJ Penn is a dick and that complaint thing is totally stupid. He was just trying to make up excuses because he feels like an ass over all that trash talking. GSP kicked his ass and it was justified. I mean come on, that whole Primetime show on Spike literally made BJ look like a bitch that didn't train hard and look what happened. GSP kicked his ass.

Besides the main event and the Machida fight, it wasn't that great of a show, decisions suck and there was alot of them, that's not good. Either everyone sucks or everyone was on top of their game not giving an inch to their opponents.

There's a little more to the whole greasing story than BJ's camp filing a complaint with the commission.

Dana, possibly Liddell and the commission itself saw some fishy stuff going on between rounds 1 and 2.
Between rounds 2 and 3 Kizer himself (along with other officials) saw the same thing happen again and reprimanded gsp's corner and wiped gsp's back down.
between rounds 3 and 4 they wiped him down again to make sure.

BJ's camp has NOT filed an appeal to the commission on the fight.
It is still uncertain if the commission will look into the matter further but they KNEW it was going on BEFORE BJ's camp even filed a complaint and were PISSED about it.

To paint this as a BJ is a sore loser so he made up a story is asinine.
If that were true then he WOULD have filed an appeal, and Dana and Kizer wouldn't have known about anything (which they did, during the actual fight).

My opinion, intentional or not, Nurse should be banned from cornering ANY UFC fight for at least a few years. Greasing fighters is cheating, and should be dealt with accordingly.

NOTE: this has no bearing on the fight itself, it has NOTHING to do with who won and who lost, it has to do with cheating, intentional or not.

It's just too bad that the great performance GSP gave will always be slightly tarnished because of it.
