I remember Manny from the Ultimate Fighter. His first round match, he destroyed his opponent, it was scary. Emerson is a great fighter, but I can't see him getting a win over Manny.

I am on the border with GSP and Fitch. Fitch is 8-0 in the UFC tying the record with Gracie I think for 8 straight UFC victories, that's pretty good. I am going to laugh if GSP stops him here.

But doesn't Manny have that bad shoulder. Cause I thought it went out on him during his first fight which he lost I though. Didn't Emerson win.

Manny injured his shoulder in the finale against Diaz I thought. That could be a target for Emerson though, good point.

That was serious OWNAGE. Lesnar came right out of the gate and owned from the second that thing started. It got kinda slow for the latter rounds, but he still dominated. If he would have hit that running knee the in the first second of that match, that would have made HUGE HEADLINES beyond belief. Rogan just kept putting him over like crazy. 'This is the reason guys need to get down to 205'.

Seriously though, he has been dominate in every single one of his fights. Just had a 1 seconds slip against Mir. After watching this and what he did against Mir, I think he might just be the best Heavyweight out there.

I agree Peepshow. Lesnar had some great mat wrestling but I think he really needs to focus on working submissions into his arsenal. Having the back of Herring for 80% of that fight and just throwing some weak punches, when he should have connected with some nice elbows, and well placed knees made the fight slow down a lot. He proved to a lot of people has the making of a great MMA fighter.

Brock Lesnar was an absolute beast in that fight. He wasn't too aggressive on the ground, but he popped out of the gate with a vicious flying knee that just scraped Herring, but in the next couple seconds connected with a huge right hand that rocked Herring. He followed up with this huge Pounce, he literally threw himself on Herring. Brock's mass is just so large, he can sit on somebody the whole fight and his opponent won't be able to move, and that's exactly what happened. Lesnar sat on Herring most of the time thinking about what he can do. He went for some moves here or there, but mainly connected with knees and hands while on the ground. Herring looked like crap like halfway through the first and it just got worse from there.

I also loved Brock's pre-victory celebration. There was like 5 seconds left and he already started shitting his pants. He was laughing at Herring at the end though. His ovation was nuts, it's great he won. This guarentees him another fight. You gotta love the big headed Pro Wrestler turned MMA Fighter, Brock Lesnar, he kicks ass.

Agreed Herring looked completely gassed but I think that first huge punch from Lesnar must have busted the bridge on his nose pretty high because his eyes were almost completely swollen by the end of three rounds. Plus it would also explain why he looked so completely worn out due to it being hard to breath.

What I am looking forward to is seeing how Lesnar's reaction is when he is not in a crowd who are all there for Lesnar. Will his reaction be like in Las vegas against Mir when he got boo'd out of the building or with this dominant fight again Herring legitimatized Lesnar in the eyes of the MMA world?

People are calling Manny over Emerson. But I'm almost sure Emerson is going to pull it off.

Ha. Who called it. Everyone talking about the Lesnar fight. But Emerson is the one who came out there and pulled out the KO in seconds. Whooooooo. I was screaming my head off at Buffalo Wild Wing. On top of that I lost my voice I was going so nuts. =[. Lol.

I wasnt able to book the PPV but I downloaded Lesnars match which was really worth it! That first puch was LETHAL, Herring looked like he had his face run over by a bus! I also liked Lesnars knee strike that he started with but missed, that could have won him the match right away tbh lol. Good match and he will get better and have better fights :D I may check out the replay tomorrow!

Brock Lesnar had a great win! I'm very glad he was able to do it so convincingly. Brock is what most people want Kimbo Slice to be. Brock has actually fought with real contenders and Kimbo has fought tomato cans.

^^What he said. Brock=Kimbo Slice.... Only he can outwrestle you, while Kimbo can only knock people out.

To be honest, Brock could have won the fight in the first minute. He hesitated a bit when he hit that first (AND NASTY!) punch. If he had capitalized a bit faster, it would have been over right then and there.

Agreed SP. However, Brock's punch was so lethal it threw Herring to the other side of the Octogon and it took so long for Lesnar to catch up to him he wasn't able to seal the deal.

I loved how Emerson came out to MIA, that was pretty cool and what a sick KO that was. BTW, for anyone who wasn't paying attention, GSP retained by unanimous decision.

^^Whoever wasn't watching that fight missed a wicked hit from GSP. He knocked Finch so hard in the face that Finch lost his fucking mouthpiece. Seeing that on a big screen was just brutal. I could feel the hit.

I didn't see the entire fight, but I heard GSP controlled him the entire time. Fitch is not undefeated no more, but what do you think was the Fight of the Night?

Fight of the night? Hard to say..

This was one of the most loaded cards of the year, but I would actually give FOTN to Maia/Macdonald..

The intense BJJ battle those two had was on par with the slugfest Bonnar/Griffin had that everyone hails as one of the best fights of all time.

Both GSP and Lesnar's fights looked awesome on paper, but were completely one sided when it came down to it.

GSPftw ;]
