I really only want to see Dos Santos fight. I have been very impressed by him thus far.

Shittiest card of the year.

Quoted for emphasis. There is nothing about this card that screams it's going to be worth 40+ bucks or whatever the heck UFC's PPV's are going for nowadays. It's a shame too, since UFC 107 was such an amazing card. But I can't say I'm surprised. The Heavyweight Division is hurting riddled with injuries, Welter, Middle and Light Weight divisions have no depth whatsoever because their champions are too dominant, and you can't have Light-Heavyweight fights on every UFC.

But honestly, what are Silva and Evans fighting for? Is this a #1 Contendership bout after Machida and Rua are done beating the crap out of each other? Do Rashad and Silva have any feud going on whatsoever? Because if it's not a fight for personal reasons or a fight for title fight consideration then the only reason this particular fight is headlining the card is because every other fight minus Dos Santos sucks. lol.

UFC really can't afford to be taking these liberties when Strikeforce has just hired Dan Henderson and Bobby Lashley to join the likes of Jake Shields, Fedor Emelianenko & a few other at least semi big names. What ever happened to Vitor Belfort getting the next shot at Anderson Silva? Is that fight gonna happen anytime soon or what?

This is basically Rampage's fault and a ton of injuries that made this PPV suck.

This almost isn't even good enough for a SpikeTV event lol

I guess to be fair, Silva DID knockout Keith Jardine and I guess it's a classic Camp Vs. Camp type of feud I suppose. But still, since both of these guys just recently lost to Machida, I'm thinking Forest Griffin or Randy Couture might have better chances at getting a title shot due to their recent wins over Tito Ortiz and Brandon Vera respectively.

As a matter of fact, I can see Couture Vs. Griffin soon, with possibly getting Ortiz Vs. Liddell with the winner of that match facing the winner of Evans/Silva, whoever wins from Couture/Griffin would probably fight the winner of Machida/Shogun, and then whoever wins between Evans/Silva/Ortiz/Liddell would follow soon after.

BAM! I just booked the next years worth of light heavyweight title fights for the UFC. Somebody send me to UFC. lol.

I just remembered. This was supposed to be Lesnar/Carwin. Even if that happened, this would have been an average card. Without that, this should be just a Spike TV special.

I like Joe Lauzon but isn't it abit crazy to have 2 brothers who aren't even that famous on the same card?

the mainevent is good. Evans wants to take revenge for his boy, Jardin. That would be interesting fight. Go Silva! fuck the smurf!

Agreed, I don't care who faces Evans as long as they fuckin' destroy him. The card had potential to be one of the best lately imo but then enjury after injury came, also Rampage pulling out kind of sucked, it still shouldn't be TOO bad but will definitely be crap compared to others.

Yeah if this would of still been home to Rampage Vs. Rashad and Lesnar Vs. Carwin this woulda been a sick ass card. Too bad it didn't pan out.

Stout vs Lauzon, Dos Santos vs Yvel, and Evans vs Silva are the ONLY fights that I'm looking forward to.

Isn't Paul Daley supposed to be fighting @ UFC 108 also? And as XBA recalled from before, UFC 107 would've easily been the greatest fight card of all-time if it wasn't for the bullshit between Rampage and the A-Team movie.

Interesting, after watching the video for 108, I find myself sort of pulling for Evans in this fight.

Note I've never seen Silva fight, well not to my knowledge anyway, but from that video I find myself wanting Evans to win. Not because he's avenging a loss for Jardine. I don't really like Evans that much, when I watched the Machida/Evans fight I pulled for Machida because I felt, and sorta still do, that Evans was just too brash and cocky.

But I'm feeling that Silva is just laying on that 'tough brazilian' act too much for me to like him. I just want to smother his face. Should be a good fight though, these two going at it.

This has to be one of the worst cards of the year. I mean the past consecutive events have had amazing cards and this one just broke the momentum. It's a shame cause this event used to have a great card but due to all the injuries, Were stuck with one that's hardly as good as the supposed one.

The only thing they have going is Rashad going for redemption after Silva knocked out Jardine.. and you know its not a great card when you're not hyped about any other match but the main event.
