Just wanted to clear things up on what you said

"Just wanted to clear up some confusion here as it seems there is alot of it!

The UFC has absolutely no control over who the judges are for ANY fight in the United States. The Athletic Commission (certainly not the gamming commission) from the state that sanctions the fight is in charge of appointing and paying the judges.

Dana White and all affiliated with the UFC can not even give gifts to judges. They are not allowed to do anything for them. They are 100 percent independent from the UFC.

The rules for fighting and scoring are also determined by the state that the fight is taking place. The UFC can NOT implement a different scoring system and still have a fight that is sanctioned. If the fight is not sanctioned it is illegal.

So to say that the UFC/Dana White et al are at fault is incorrect."

I took that from a guy on another forum

But yeah, either way.. im so pissed, gonna have to start giving bj's in the alleys to make that money back

LOL man I was so angry!

I LOLed at Machida slipping HAHAHA! I was yelling at my TV "JUMP ON HIM RUA... GROUND AND POUND DAMMMMMMMIT!"

Then Machida locked him in a highly awkward position (around his ass/balls/cock.... whatever that was)

I was like DAMMMMMMIT!

Like I told my bro's at the beggining of a fight 90% of the time a title WILL NOT change on decision. It just looks bad cause when 2 fighters put on a good fight like that were no one is clearly dominating and by clearly dominating I mean look at Cain Velesquez match again Chick Congo it just leaves so much room for error and arguments so plain and simple they usually only turn title over on KO or Submision.

That's bullshit, I have been reading many sites and nobody has Machida winning this fight except for the judges. It simply comes down to it that if the fight went to decision they would automatically give the fight to Machida because after Forrest and Rashad, they could not have a champion who couldn't defend his title.

Machida is not an Anderson Silva for sure. Machida is not as good as UFC makes him out to be.

well yeah its called the UFC hype machine for a reason they could make ANYONE look good probably

isnt it pretty common for decisions in close fights to go to the champ anyways

fights were terriiiiiiible. Fucking fell asleep in the bar. Machida i think needs to drink more of his pee and focus on the next step as champion instead of being a figurehead for the belt.

Machida didn't win the fight. Judges must of not wanted to crown a new champ with controversy is the only conclusion i could get out of it.

1. Agreed. And if it would have been a very close split decision both in the judges minds and fans' minds it would have been fine. May have been disappointing for Shogun fans but at least it would have been a close, even fight. This wasn't even a close fight from what I've read about it.

2. Cecil Peoples. That idiot cannot judge a fight worth shit. I actually have it on good authority that he judged Week 6's game between the Titans and the Patriots in favor of the Titans.

I gotta say that after seeing Machida/Shogun I was, and I think everyone else was, brought back to Earth on Machida. I started watching that fight thinking Machida would just dominate like he did to Evans, but that was scrapped.

Shogun should've won, imo. I laughed when they kept the strap on Machida. Laughed.

Oh, and despite the premature ending to Cain/Rothwell, you cannot deny that after that performance - Cain Velasquez is the real deal. Absolutely dominated him! Would loved to have seen that fight go on longer.
